Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Cahill.
Hi Kevin, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I grew up in the KC Metro area. I eventually moved to Arizona for college, where I got a Golf Management Degree. After working at a golf course, I realized Arizona was not for me anymore and it was time to return back to KC. When I returned to KC, I began flipping houses. After a couple of house flips, I realized in order to save money and find houses quicker I needed to get my real estate license. So, I did just that. As time would pass, I no longer just used my license to help my flip business but to help other buy or sell homes!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
There are always bumps along the way but it’s not about the struggles themselves but rather how you deal with each bump you can encounter.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have my real estate license in both Kansas and Missouri. I also flip houses as well! I mainly specialize in residential buying and selling!
I am the most proud of the hard work I have put in to get to where I am. I also am very proud to be able to say I have helped families find a new home, or sell a house they have had for a long time. As a real estate agent, we are the start of a new chapter for some people and the end of a chapter for others! But it always brings me joy when I know they are happy with the results.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
People will always be buying and selling real estate. As far as big shifts or changes. I can’t really answer that because truly so many different factors play into the real estate market. One little change in one area could cause a huge change in another.
