Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Lauren.

Hi Jessica, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Honestly, it’s all just falling into place. I was selling travel memberships in 2020 when Covid hit; bringing my business to an uncomfortable standstill. At the time, I was living in Los Angeles, managing a sugaring studio in Beverly Hills, where after 9 months of lockdown, started working again. The studio was short staffed leaving me overworked and uninspired. A life of inspiration, freedom, creativity, abundance was something I was desperately craving & missing the feeling I had helping people travel to their dream destinations. Fast forward to summer 2023; when I unexpectedly ended up back in Kansas City. I made the decision to leave a traumatic relationship behind, however also left what felt like my whole life. I knew I never wanted to feel that low again and that this was my opportunity to create something beautiful. I went through extensive therapy, tuned into myself, and decided to start my brand. Being ~Authentically Aligned~ is all about being your truest, most elevated, divine self. My goal is to inspire those around me to live unapologetically in their power.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Is this a trick question? LOL. It has been anything but smooth. I mean I had no idea what I was doing and truly just figuring it out day by day. I’ve had countless challenging moments regarding fabrics, colors, and logos being incorrect, or jobs just simply not get done all together. I’ve sent promotional materials to girls and then them ghost me leaving me both in the hole monetarily & without necessary content. I’ve done events where no one has shown up, the list goes on. I think when you have a strong enough ~why~ however, you are more okay realizing that’s just part of the process & ending that day having learned something is always a win.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
It’s all energy with me. I like to ask myself after being in different scenarios and around different people; Do I feel drained or energized? My intention is for anyone I speak with to always answer the latter. I would say I specialize in ~vibes~ it’s a feeling; an energy. Very frequently, I’ll hit it off with a complete stranger and they’ll comment on how they were drawn to start a conversation with me or that they feel in a higher vibration after our conversation is over & I truly feel like that’s my job; to lift people up, to inspire the masses, to leave people better than I found them, and to use my own healing journey to lead others to do the same.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Everyone always just thinks I’m happy and positive all the time and that truly could not be further from the truth. It’s the irony of my entire brand being called ~Authentically Aligned~ while being on my own journey of finding as well as being my most authentic self. For me; building this brand has been so therapeutic. It’s saved me, given me purpose. For most of my life I struggled to feel understood and confident in my own skin which also surprises people. I’m such a multifaceted individual which in the past has brought its own heartache as I would feel overwhelmed in deciding what version of myself to be that day and it feels so freeing to cultivate a safe space that people can show up as they are with intentions of elevating daily.
