Today we’d like to introduce you to Carmen Seda.

Hi Carmen, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the digital world and photography! Growing up in the 90s, I loved taking photos on my mom’s camera and coming up with photoshoot ideas with my friends! When the rise of the digital world came around, I started creating graphics and websites at the age of 12!

Fast forward to 2013 – I started diving head first into photography, which was also the start of my professional influencer career. I found my love for reading after one of my friends recommended my favorite book to this day. I created an Instagram account dedicated to that series to connect to other readers like me! Shortly after, I started to combine my love for photography by taking photos of books and posting them along with a review after I read them. I started working with publishing companies and eventually started working with authors as their social media manager, creating bookmarks, ads, and digital graphics to eventually working with other companies like Morphe, Amazon, Netflix, Coola, Disney, Hallmark, and more.

Combining my photography, social media management, and content creation experience has led me to where I am today: Social weddings. Being able to capture candid and raw moments that last a lifetime truly means the world to me. I absolutely love what I do, and I cannot imagine doing anything else!

It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a challenging road! Until recently, I was trying to navigate my full-time job in addition to my photography and start my new wedding content creator business! It’s been amazing to focus solely on my career, and I could not be happier!

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What sets me apart is my experience and creative eye! Having been a photographer for 15 years, a professional influencer and social media manager, and having dabbled in wedding coordination while also being a 2024 bride myself, my heart and soul are in Wedding Content Creation! Wedding Content Creation is a service specifically catered to those who want endless behind-the-scenes photos and videos, love social trends, but still want to be present on the big day. My job is to take hundreds (if not thousands) of photos and videos, create viral content, Instagram takeovers, and more! I don’t cull through or edit any of the photos and videos. This gives the couple free rein to edit to the aesthetic they want! I love capturing raw and authentic moments in an easily shareable way on social networks so you and your wedding party can enjoy the big day wholly unplugged and free of distractions. The best part? Everything is delivered in under 24 hours!

What matters most to you? Why?
Capturing the big and small moments and all of the in-between. Memories in the mind may fade with time, but being able to give a couple an unlimited (and unedited) amount of physical memories is priceless and is something that can be treasured and passed down for years to come!
