Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittani Arnold.
Hi Brittani, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Greetings! My name is Brittani also known as Aya, I am a holistic womb keeper, steward of the land, herbalist, divine educator at a private nature based homeschool and a home baker.
I started my first garden last year (2025) and now I manage a community garden, learning farm and orchard where I grow food for the community, It’s like once I started to plant seeds more than just my garden started to bloom. I’m grateful for this opportunity, as I know it is preparing me for the future. I aspire to be a homesteader as well. I started my sourdough journey in February of 2026, a friend of mine shared some of her starter with me and now I vend at markets in the community. This experience has been so rewarding to me. To be able to connect people with the simplicity of life and being able to offer fresh bread made with real organic and locally grown ingredients. A healthier option available to the community. My journey as a womb keeper began in 2023 on paper but in reality I had been doing this work well before a certificate. It just comes naturally. It is something I am called to. I am truly honored to be able to guide mothers on their journey to motherhood and so much more. Using herbal remedies aligned so well with my holistic approach to life. I have been studying herbs for about 4 years now and through my own experience I know the power of Gods medicine. I happy to share my experiences with others.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle along the way is getting out of my own way. Overcoming imposter syndrome. It has been a journey but it gets better each day I don’t give up! Seeing the fruits of my labor has inspired me so much. And knowing that fear will always be present, it just won’t be in the driver seat.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
As a womb keeper I specialize in postpartum care where I offer, farm to table local & organic meals for families including fresh homemade sourdough bread. I attend births as well if it is aligned. And I support women through loss of any kind (abortion, miscarriage etc). I take preorders for my sourdough bread as well now and I do occasional markets in the community! Holistic Mama Wellness is my birth keeping business whereas Sacred Creations- Holistic Bakehouse & Wellness is where I offer everything else. I am proud of my expansion and my ability to connect with people on a much deeper level.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I am a mother of two boys who share my world with me. They are always in the garden with me. Learning how to steward land at such a young age. I teach a summer youth program at Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council in Kansas City Missouri as well as teach at a private nature based homeschool me and some close friends started this year. My passion is teaching womban how to connect with their wombs & the land and teaching children to steward and appreciate the land as well. We learn so much in community and showing appreciation to ourselves and ancestors.
