Conrad, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What makes you lose track of time—and find yourself again?
I really enjoy drawing, I can fall into a zone and draw for hours. Photography is like therapy for me. That’s where I find peace in being creative..
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Conrad and I’m the owner of Stay Focused Digital Imaging. I screen print t-shirts and other items for various customers. I also offer embroidery services. I help other t-shirt shops with projects from time to time. I also provide photography services. I’ve been in business since 2007. I love art, it puts a smile on my face especially when I come across something unique. I really enjoy what I do. I continue do it all from a wheelchair since 2020.
Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
Ted! rest in peace. Ted saw the hustle in me and the desire I had to be an entrepreneur. He gave me an opportunity of a lifetime and I ran with it. I had no idea how to correctly screen print t-shirts but I was eager to learn. If I hadn’t met him it’s no telling where or what I’d be doing right now. Ted helped me see life from a different perspective. He knew where I was at and which way I was trying to go. He gave me a vision and I’ve been focused ever since.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
You’re smarter than you think you are.

Keeping the people that I do business with happy, having a good reputation in the community.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope people say that I was a great guy! I was honest, I was up front and meant everything that I said. I helped those around me when they needed me. I hope they say I was one of a kind. I kept it 100.
