In 2014, I bought my Cruise Planners agency because I wanted to turn my love of travel into something more meaningful—helping others experience the joy of exploring the world. To me, travel isn’t just about visiting new places; it’s about creating memories, celebrating milestones, and sharing unforgettable experiences with the people who matter most.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of designing honeymoons, destination weddings, family getaways, and bucket-list adventures. What I enjoy most is getting to know my clients personally and tailoring every trip so it feels effortless, unique, and stress-free.
For me, being a travel advisor isn’t just about booking vacations—it’s about building relationships and making every journey one to remember.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I bought my Cruise Planners agency in 2014, I quickly learned that being a travel advisor wasn’t always smooth sailing. Some of my struggles have been:
Navigating the learning curve of running a business while staying up-to-date on the constantly changing travel industry.
Weathering unexpected challenges like hurricanes, travel disruptions, and even the pandemic, which completely changed how people thought about travel.
Balancing the behind-the-scenes details (technology, training, vendor relationships) with what I love most—working directly with clients.
These challenges haven’t always been easy, but they’ve pushed me to grow, adapt, and find creative solutions. Each struggle has made me a stronger advisor, and it’s also given me more empathy and understanding for my clients when their own travel plans face the unexpected.

I own a Cruise Planners travel agency, which I purchased in 2014, and I’ve been helping clients design unforgettable vacations ever since. While “cruise” is in the name, I plan so much more than cruises—my services cover everything from all-inclusive resorts and destination weddings to custom tours, group travel, honeymoons, and once-in-a-lifetime adventures.
What sets my business apart is the personal touch. I take the time to really get to know my clients, their travel style, and what will make their trip special. I don’t just book trips; I create personalized experiences and remove the stress of planning. At the end of the day, what drives me is knowing I played a part in someone’s honeymoon, anniversary, family reunion, or bucket-list adventure. Those are moments that can’t be replaced—and it’s why I love what I do.
