Inspiring Conversations with Stephanie Cunningham, Realtor

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Cunningham.

Stephanie Cunningham

Hi Stephanie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, how can you bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Coming from a background of 15+ years in various customer service roles, caring for people is second nature. I’ve served in the real estate industry since 2015 as executive administrative support, compliance officer, transaction coordinator, and agent trainer; you name it. I’m exceptional with the attention to detail, and the paperwork comes easily. I’ve been using my license since 2020 and couldn’t be more fulfilled. Creating lifelong relationships with my clients is my ultimate goal. Because we left the closing table doesn’t mean I can’t still be of service to you and your family. I’m your forever real estate resource! If you need a trusted referral for a Plumber? Electrician? House Cleaner? Landscaping? Roof Repair? Etc. I know someone. Are you thinking about changing things up and needing a second opinion on the paint Color? Flooring? Tile? Fixtures? I’d be happy to give you mine!

My Why: A lifelong best friend purchased her first home from a cold and unreachable agent a few years ago; I supposed the agent felt my friend wasn’t buying at a price that deserved her attention and effort. She had a terrible experience and often called me in tears throughout the transaction, saying, ‘This can’t be right?’. That was when I decided I needed to do something and got licensed. Sure, I can’t change the rotten agents worldwide, but I can provide a better personal experience for my clients. Committing this size can be stressful enough as it is; to have a professional in your corner that you can rely on, relate to, and trust is imperative. Also, I’ve thought about being a Realtor since I was a little girl – probably a blend of my love for businesswoman apparel and unique houses. However, it happened, and I landed where I was meant to be.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect.
Is there such a thing as a smooth road? Are you guys having smooth roads on your entrepreneurial journeys? Building anything worth having is always hard work, frustrations, and hurdles. The key is a positive perspective and an attitude of gratitude. A cool thing about being a human is our ability to assess, adapt, and overcome. My biggest current struggle as a residential realtor is the competition from investors on homes perfect for first-time home buyers and families.

As you know, we’re big fans of Stephanie Cunningham, Realtor. What can you tell our readers who might need to be more familiar with the brand?
My ultimate goal is to break through the “salesperson” stereotype. I don’t want to be a Realtor; I want to be your lifelong real estate resource. I wish to be different by allowing my clients to make decisions without pressure. Sure, the current market is moving fast, so you must keep up or miss out. But what I mean by that is I’ll use my resources and knowledge to gather all of your best options and present them to you to analyze and decide what is best for you based on your needs, wants, and personality. You are the boss, and I am your guide.

We love surprises, fun facts, and unexpected stories. Can you share something that might surprise us?
You might be surprised to learn that I unwind after a long day, not with alcohol, but with Call of Duty and metal music.
