Today we’d like to introduce you to Neha Grover Mehra.

Neha Grover Mehra

Thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, how did you get started?
In dentistry, I had the pleasure of crossing paths with a brilliant physician who would soon become my life partner. Little did I know that this union would not only bring me love and companionship but also an entire family of culinary wizards. Among them, my mother-in-law possessed a particular talent for crafting delectable treats that would tantalize even the most discerning palates. However, this is merely the beginning of our story. Within the confines of my world, I harbor a deep love for the art of cooking and the pleasure of savoring exquisite cuisine passed down from my mother; this passion burns brightly within me, a flame that fuels my soul. Imagine my astonishment when I first witnessed my mother-in-law conjuring mouthwatering baked goods from scratch right in the heart of India. It was a mesmerizing sight as high-quality, fresh ingredients transformed into heavenly bread, cakes, and cookies before my very eyes. Fast forward to our grand adventure in the United States. My husband’s demanding education and profession led me to choose the path of a stay-at-home parent. It was during this journey that I discovered the immense joy of baking. It all began with crafting exquisite, made-with-love birthday cakes for my beloved daughter. The sheer delight and wonder in her eyes as she blew out the candles on those beautiful creations will forever be etched in my heart. However, something unexpected occurred. Baking cakes evolved from a delightful indulgence into a creative sanctuary, a therapeutic outlet that kept my spirit engaged and my heart brimming with happiness. Each baking endeavor became a testament to my craftsmanship, as I meticulously crafted masterpieces by hand. Word spread rapidly about my magical creations, starting with friends and family. What was a humble endeavor soon blossomed into a burgeoning passion and profession. Since 2017, I have been captivating taste buds and capturing hearts with my delectable confections.

Furthermore, I have been blessed with the joy of raising three exceptional children. Even now, I continue to create all our birthday and anniversary cakes at home, infusing each with love and enchantment. It fills me with immense pride to have established a reputable presence in the industry, earning the trust of devoted customers who appreciate my unwavering commitment to their satisfaction. From personalized touches to intricate designs, I pour my heart and soul into every cake I create. For me, it is not simply the act of baking but rather the creation of moments of pure bliss and the fulfillment of dreams, one cake at a time!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Obstacles are a natural part of any journey, and overcoming them often leads to personal growth and success! I was not a trained pastry chef, so acquiring those skills and knowledge took time and patience. Setting up a business as a one-person show isn’t easy. But I was fortunate enough to have my family’s support and encouragement not to stop!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next, you can tell us more about your business.
An entrepreneur, a wife, and a mom to three wildlings! I’m the owner and baker at Sweet Tooth Desserts LLC. We bake everything from scratch, just like home! We offer a wide variety of flavors like Pina colada, mojito, and cinnamon bun, to name a few, and some of our most popular flavors are also the fusion Indian ones like Rasmalai and gulab jamun cakes! They are a perfect blend of East and West! These were the flavors that put me on the map 🙂 We specialize in custom designer cakes, gourmet cupcakes, and desserts.
