Inspiring Conversations with Krissy Frewin of Coastless Living Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Krissy Frewin.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have owned a franchise – 2B Organized KC – for the last 8 years. It has been an amazing experience, but I was ready for a new challenge and the flexibility to create a business that feels unique to me and my team. I’m excited to introduce Coastless Living Co, where we provide for you an elevated and luxurious home experience, sans coast.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have, of course, been MANY obstacles along the way. However, after 8 years in business, you learn to roll with the punches. What we do is beautiful and incredible, but it’s not life or death. If we have a difficult client or an estimate that was way too low, we take a deep breath, and get to work. We create solutions for our clients, not problems.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Coastless Living Co. ?
We are the absolute dream team among professional organizers. I say that with extreme confidence. I take pride in the fact that I have curated a team worth saying that about.

We are fun, energetic, and are people you enjoy having in your home. We take notice of the things that matter to you. In spite of the stereotype that organizers sometimes get, we don’t just come in and start throwing things out or trying to convince you to get rid of half of your stuff. We are simply here to make space for and showcase the things you use and love in your home.
We are realistic and aim to create function within the beauty of our projects. We promise to leave you with a feeling of calm in your home.

We specialize in whole home and concierge move projects. While we will always offer the flexibility of doing one space at a time, but we especially love the opportunity to go through an entire home and creating a space that works with you and your lifestyle.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I think design and organization go hand in hand. I see the professional organization industry finding a place that weaves beautifully in that design arena. I think for the last 5-10 years, we’ve seen much of the same baskets, bins, and organization trends. I am hopeful to see some new, unexpected options to play with that feel more unique and not so trendy.
