Today we’d like to introduce you to Julie Larson.
Hi Julie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hello there!, my name is Julie Larson. Everyone calls me Jules. I am a Medium, Channel which means that I am able to communicate with folk who have passed on as well as pets that have passed away. I do receive visions and I do have “knowing”. It is a lot. But worth it. I have learned more from working with energy than I ever thought or imagined. Working with plants and creating a relationship with them has taught me much more than my science class did. Not that i didnt need to know what i was taught but the relationships that I created with plants, animals, places and people is invaluable. Everything is about connection. So as my mom received her massage license and began doing the “health fairs” it connected me with the field of alternative medicine which has brought me to where I am today. So connection is a pre curser to integration. Just as a catalyst is a precursor to change. Amidst raising children I chose to take an Herbal class seeking relief from seasonal allergies without using otc allergy meds. For three years I drove three hours from Wichita to KC finally receiving my herbal certification in the late 90’s. That led to amazing relationships with plants which is part of my self care and each of the sessions that 5th Element Alchemy provides.
My mother was a massage therapist and my step dad practiced hand/foot reflexology and iridology so I went to the “wellness” fairs as they used to be called, with them. That is when I realized that I am able to see, hear, feel and just “know” things.
Over the years life experience has “fine tuned” my abilities. No one is perfect, of course, but when you choose to trust yourself an entirely different experience happens. From herbal school I met the folk who run KC METAPHYSICAL FAIR and began doing readings there.
I was a vet tech for twenty years and began housesitting then as well. I still housesit some pets ten years on. I love it. It’s decompression time when I’m with the animals.
One of the greatest lessons that I have learned is that in our darkest-deeply painful-most vulnerable times of life there is ALWAYS a gift. The “bad” times are our greatest point of self power & enlightenment. Meaning, the bad is not only bad. There is always something good in it. You may not see it till yrs later but it is there.
Also one of the greatest gifts that I received was after my mom passed away last June. I learned that I did not “lose” my mom and my relationship with her. Now it is merely a matter of having a deeper, closer relationship with her just in a different way. That is part of what I do. I teach people how to listen differently- feel differently so as to create and nurture the new relationship that they now can have with their own departed loved one. Human or animal. And that leads to a different relationship with themselves which is the point but not the “whole story”. Interesting isn’t it?!
Community is everything. Being able to provide for others is why I do this work. Community connects us. We must nurture & nourish that.
Toward the end of last year I was considering renting a studio to practice my energetic sessions out of. I hopped on Facebook and I saw Zenful Sparks looking to rent their studio. I replied & here we are. Intention creates reality and I am delighted to work with my community, support my community and be a part of my community. My energetic sessions include Reiki, clearing-cleansing-balancing of the energetic fields surrounding the body and the chakras, mediumship reading, tools & resources to take with you and build upon for your own wellbeing. My work is to connect you with yourself, teach you how to nurture & nourish yourself, support the space that you have created for that, be your witness and guide you through your growth. This is a powerful process and should be honored as such. This time is all about you & your relationship with yourself, how to connect with deeper, different parts of yourself and interpreting, understanding and navigating those parts of yourself through right alignment and a new understanding of who you are, what you want and what you are currently choosing and why. 5th Element Alchemy Sessions are scheduled thru Zenful Sparks website.

Meet me, Jules, at Enchanting Winds April 26,2026 from 1-3 for my class “MEET THE CLAIRS”. We will discuss clairaudience and the other clairs, what they are, how they work, how to utilize them and protection methods that correlate to each clair. I enjoy watching my community expand. I hope that you are able to learn & enjoy this class with me.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Journeys are not experienced smoothly. The biggest challenges have been with myself. My perceptions, My belief structures, My “issues”. Getting over my ego self, the petulant child that wont shut up. The inevitable “ego death” , of which there are many, self sabotage, believing that I was powerless because of how I was treated, believing what everyone else told me rather than believing myself-listening to myself-CHOOSING myself. Ooooffff. Yep. Those were the greatest challenges that I faced. Much more than money or time. Money was an issue to afford certain classes, materials, etc when raising four boys. Married or not. Time. A family of six. Time is priceless when studying, going to fairs, etc.
Communication is the key. Keep that lane open, so to speak. It helps everyone be able to help each other.
We’ve been impressed with 5th Element Alchemy, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
5th Element Alchemy is about connection & alignment. We achieve this consistently thru consistent-devoted relationship with ourself. Old physical or mental trauma may linger within the body as dis-ease of some sort. I discuss diet-life style- work- self care, color preferences, social media influences, the whole nine yards. Each choice has everything to do with right alignment and I offer tools & resources to each client as part of their 5E Experience with 5th Element Alchemy. This is for those dedicated to themselves & their own well being and who understand how that affects everyone and everything around us. Especially as WE CREATE OUR OWN REALITIES. This is such an epic adventure. Don’t you believe that you are worth it? I do.
