Maid Strong Cleaning Service has always been more than a cleaning company to me—it’s a legacy built on hard work, resilience, and creating opportunities for women. My mother founded Maid Strong in 2016 with a vision of providing exceptional cleaning services while giving women a workplace where they could be respected and valued. In September 2022, I stepped into the business to help manage the teams while also cleaning alongside them, learning every part of the operation from the ground up. On January 1, 2024, I officially became the owner of Maid Strong, and since then, we’ve experienced incredible growth. What began as one residential cleaning team has expanded into multiple residential teams, commercial and janitorial services, post-construction and move-out cleanings, and a growing presence throughout Wichita and the surrounding communities. Along the way, we’ve proudly earned Wichita’s Best Cleaning Service for three consecutive years. Today, Maid Strong stands for far more than spotless homes and businesses—it represents leadership, opportunity, integrity, and a commitment to serving both our clients and our community with excellence. As we continue to grow, our mission remains the same: to build a company that changes lives, one client, one employee, and one relationship at a time.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been a smooth road. Like many small businesses, we’ve faced growing pains, staffing challenges, rising operating costs, and the constant pressure of building systems while continuing to serve our clients at a high level. There have been difficult conversations, mistakes that became lessons, long days spent working in the field while managing the business, and moments where I questioned whether I was doing enough. But every obstacle has strengthened Maid Strong. Each challenge has taught me how to become a better leader, build a stronger team, and create processes that allow us to grow with purpose. Looking back, I wouldn’t change the journey because every setback played a role in building the company we are today.

We provide professional residential and commercial cleaning services throughout Wichita and the surrounding communities, specializing in recurring home cleanings, deep cleans, move-in and move-out cleanings, post-construction cleanups, and janitorial services for businesses. We also have light organizing and laundry services, because as we know some need a FULL reset!

What matters most to me is people. Everything I do is rooted in creating opportunities, building relationships, and leaving people better than I found them. Whether it’s providing our clients with the peace of coming home to a clean space or creating meaningful career opportunities for women of color, I want Maid Strong to have an impact that extends far beyond cleaning. Success isn’t just measured by growth or awards—it’s measured by the trust we’ve earned, the lives we’ve touched, and the legacy we’re building.
