Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Moreno.
Hi Daniel, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
StayIn Kansas City was born in June of 2025. With 7 years of experience in the Short-Term-Rental (Airbnb) industry in KC, I decided to start my own company to provide top-notch services to property managers or owners bringing all of my experiences and processes that I had created in past companies and that resulted in 5-star review ratings across the board.
But I didn’t want to simply be one more company and wanted to be different from the competition so an idea to service not just that industry but also different ones came to mind.
StayIn KC is a multi-service small business that also offers Aerial Photography and Videography services that help other small businesses or individuals elevate their social media or digital marketing efforts with drone shots of their stores or events. This branch of the business goes hand in hand with my digital community @kansascityinphotos on Instagram. Additionally, we also offer English/Spanish translation and interpretation services to individuals or companies.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Yes and no. It has been smooth in that I already had a vast experience in starting and growing a company, managing a team and learning along the way while adding my knowledge and bilingualism to the mix as well as my hobby and love for social media and photography. However, there are always hurdles. Running your own business means you are on the clock 24/7 and you are fully responsible for the success of it. Thankfully, as a very young business still, there have been more triumphs than struggles.
We’ve been impressed with StayIn Kansas City, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
From a very young age, I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family where traveling to other cities and countries was a part of our lives.
Since then, I have been to 44 countries and stayed at all kinds of places, from very humble houses to hostels as well as very nice hotels and resorts.
One thing that always stuck with me was how important guest experiences ant these places were. From cleanliness to communication to comfort and everything that involves a 5-star stay, these things can shape your vacation.
Fast forward to 2019 and in the middle of the pandemic, I co-founded a cleaning business that rapidly grew into Kansas City’s premier short-term-rental cleaning and management company.
I understand the importance of providing top-notch services to each and every client and guest. This is why I brought the same values and mission over to StayIn Kansas City.
Transparency, responsibility, great communication, a hardworking team and flexibility is what you will get if you partner with us.
However, I knew that I needed to use all of my experience, knowledge, tools and resources in this and other fields to stand out in today’s world, which is why StayIn KC, is more than Airbnb cleaning and management services. Through my career in Digital Marketing, Social Media and Content Creation, we are pleased to also offer Aerial Photography and Videography packages to elevate your brand or personal online presence.
Additionally, we are partnered with Moreno Denton Language Services to provide general, legal, technical or medical English to Spanish and Spanish to English translation and interpretation for individuals, private companies, hospitals and government departments.
Lastly, we know how hectic life can be, so we extended our areas of expertise to offer organization tasks at your home or place of work. Whether it is a closet or a garage or an entire home, we are happy to help your place feel and look cleaner and free of clutter.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Professionally, success to me means being my own boss, making my own schedule, being in full control of my businesses growth. Not necessarily make the big bucks but feeling comfortable and loving what you do.
