Hi Brittney, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are a buy, sell, trade clothing exchange. We opened our doors in June of 2016- coming up on our 10th year of business! Wooohooo! We started back in June with the excitement and hope of bringing name-brand, fashionable clothing to the community of St. Joe at great prices. We love offering the city an affordable and sustainable way to shop.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We definitely seen our challenges! One of the major challenges we encountered was Covid in 2020. We had to close our doors for a few months while the world kind of stood still and sheltered for safety. We had to go from being an instore business to trying some different online shopping strategies to keep sales coming in during that time, just barely scraping by. We were closed to the public for 3 months and it felt like an eternity! We were so relieved to open back up in the late summer of 2020 with extra precautions to our shoppers. After covid we definitely saw a surge in people more interested in budget friendly and sustainable shopping. Another major challenge we’ve consistently faced over the years is theft…. It’s the monster always lingering in our closet… Sometimes surprisingly closer to home than we’d have suspected. We always prosecute to the fullest extent. It’s something we have little patience for. One of our biggest heart breaks over the years was finding out a trusted employee had been stealing from us. Nothing prepares you for that gut wrenching feeling that you’ve been betrayed and lied to… And seeing first hand the harm and detriment their actions brought onto the business. We’ve learned some hard lessons over the years.

We are a buy, sell, trade clothing exchange. We offer name brand clothing to customers at just a fraction of mall prices. We are upscale resale. We pay cash on the spot for current style clothing. We love brands you see at the mall like Madewell, American Eagle, Buckle brands, Nike, Under Armour, Adidas, Shein, Forever 21, etc. We have adult brands and styles, no kids clothing. There’s something for everyone, no matter your style!
What does success mean to you?
Success for me would mean having achieved personal goals, great relationships with people important to me, financial security, balance in all aspects of life.
