Inspiring Conversations with Brittany Brooks of Eventfully, Yours

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittany Brooks.

Hi Brittany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve always been drawn to weddings—the joy, the details, and the beautiful chaos of it all. Organizing has always come naturally to me, and over the years I found myself helping friends plan their big days just for fun. In 2022, I joined Elysian Fields and gained hands-on experience in professional wedding coordination, learning the ins and outs of vendor management and seeing everything from the venue’s perspective. After a year, I quietly launched my own business and booked my very first wedding shortly after. What started as a passion has grown into a dream career, and I’ve now had the privilege of being part of many weddings—with many more to come!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, it’s been a pretty smooth road! I’ve been lucky to work with the nicest people and learn from so many amazing vendors along the way. Every wedding teaches me something new that helps me keep growing and improving what I do.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Eventfully, Yours?
I offer day-of coordination services to help couples plan and execute their wedding with ease and confidence. My role is to make sure every detail is covered—from the overall vision and décor setup to vendor management—so that the couple can truly enjoy their day without being asked a single logistical question!

What sets me apart is that who you meet on day one is who you’ll see on your wedding day. I believe in being genuine and building real relationships with my couples. I also believe your closest family and friends should be part of the joy, not the stress, which is why I take pride in handling the behind-the-scenes details so everyone can simply be present.

I’m proud that I’ve built this business myself. It allows me to balance my work as a full-time social worker while also being a mom and a spouse—something that means the world to me.

I also want couples to know that my services are affordable and flexible. My packages are priced by hours and designed to fit a variety of needs. I’ve coordinated everything from full-service weddings—handling setup, vendor management, coordination, and teardown—to smaller events where I simply oversee vendors so others can relax and enjoy the moment.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Flexibility is key! No matter how well a wedding is planned, something unexpected always happens — and that’s okay. The important part is knowing how to pivot with ease. I take the time to understand what truly matters most to my couples so that, when plans shift, I can make quick decisions that still align with their vision and priorities.
