Hi Shaun, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We are Complete Custom Cabinets. A husband and wife owned, direct to consumer, bespoke cabinet manufacturer in the Kansas City area. We specialize in matching existing work in the remodel industry. We can make new cabinets that match exactly to your current kitchen. This includes adding a new pantry, “surgery” or modifications and repairs like removing the 90s desk and replacing with usable cabinets. No job is too small as we regularly replicate a single broken door. We also specialize in matching internet and magazine pictures of unique items like islands, range hoods, etc.
We operate debit free with low overhead, allowing us to offer affordable prices to our clients.
Complete Custom Cabinets was started by Shaun Oleksy over 15 years ago as a side hustle. Today we employ numerous craftsmen and build on average a kitchen a week. Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Finding a niche in any market can be challenging. Over the years we have accumulated numerous cutters, knives, and bits. This has allowed us to match many decorative profiles and door styles. We offer more options and variety than other “custom” shops in the metro.
We’ve been impressed with Complete Custom Cabinets , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Punctuality and honesty is rare in the construction industry. At Complete Custom Cabinets we pride ourselves on being on time. This spans from our initial site measure and meeting. To the day we say we’re going to deliver and install. In over 15 years, we can count the number of times we’ve been late on one hand. Reputation is also very important to us. Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
We touched on punctuality and reputation. But how about the product itself. We build our cabinets using only the best components. We utilize 5/8″ UV finished plywood for the interior of our cabinets. They are constructed with dado and rabbit joints for superior strength. The soft close hinges and drawer guides we use are Blum brand. Blum has been considered the best hardware in the industry for more than 25 years. We offer several hardwood options for the doors and faces and we can source just about any species of wood you would want.
