Today we’d like to introduce you to Korie Coyazo.
Hi Korie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My story began in traditional healthcare, where I spent over 15 years as a Registered Nurse. I learned a great deal during that time, but I also felt a growing disconnect. I watched people cycle through appointments, prescriptions, and temporary fixes without ever being taught how to truly heal or understand their bodies. I could feel in my bones that there had to be a more compassionate and complete way to support people.
That inner knowing led me down a different path. I began studying naturopathic medicine, nervous system regulation, nutrition, and holistic healing while still working in conventional healthcare. Eventually, I reached a point where I could no longer function inside systems that required me to move fast, stay quiet, or ignore my intuition. Stepping away was not easy, but it was necessary. It was an act of self trust.
I started Alchemy as a mobile, grassroots wellness practice, meeting people where they were both literally and energetically. What began with IV therapy and wellness support slowly expanded as clients asked for deeper guidance. Over time, Alchemy evolved into an integrative practice that blends aesthetics, naturopathic care, metabolic longevity, and lifestyle education. The common thread has always been empowerment. I don’t believe in quick fixes or dependency. I believe in teaching people how to listen to their bodies and reconnect with their own inner medicine.
The work I do today is a reflection of my own healing journey. I’ve had to learn boundaries, protect my energy, and honor my nervous system in order to stay well. Those experiences shaped not only how I practice, but why I practice the way I do. Alchemy is not just a business. It is a living expression of everything I have learned about health, autonomy, and remembering who we are beneath the noise.
I am here to create space for people who are ready to slow down, get honest, and choose a different relationship with their health. One rooted in awareness, compassion, and sovereignty.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. The road has been anything but smooth, and in many ways the challenges are what shaped me into who I am today.
From the very beginning, I never fit neatly into the boxes that were presented to me. Even at 19, when I entered nursing, I could feel that I was different. I led with intuition, empathy, and presence, and that made some people uncomfortable. I had older nurses try to harden me, to “teach me a lesson,” to dim qualities they saw as a threat rather than a gift. I was younger, fast, deeply connected to my patients, and instead of being mentored, I was often tested. That experience taught me early on that systems do not always reward sensitivity, wisdom, or heart.
As my career evolved, that same pattern continued. I am very multidimensional. I am not just a nurse. I am a healer, a guide, and an Indigenous divine feminine wisdom keeper who listens deeply to the body, the energy, and the unseen. Trying to compress that into the cookie cutter model of a med spa or corporate healthcare structure was soul crushing. I was expected to follow scripts, prioritize volume over care, and silence my intuition in favor of protocols that often felt misaligned. I tried, for a time, to make myself smaller so I could belong, but my body and spirit would not allow it.
There were also challenges that came with speaking truth in a world that resists it. Being aligned with health freedom, questioning toxic norms, and encouraging people to think critically about their bodies and choices is not always welcomed. I faced pushback, judgment, and attempts to control or limit my voice, including from a previous employer who tried to cage me into a box I never fit into. Ultimately, I had to choose myself and walk away from mega med spas, corporate structures, and the toxic culture that exists in much of the nursing world.
The greatest lesson through all of it has been boundaries. Learning that my energy is sacred. Learning that not everyone deserves access to me, my time, or my wisdom. Learning that I do not need to be understood by everyone to be in integrity with myself. Protecting my nervous system, honoring my intuition, and trusting my inner guidance has been both the hardest and most liberating work of my life.
None of this has been easy, but it has been deeply meaningful. Every struggle refined my discernment and strengthened my commitment to creating something different. A space rooted in respect, sovereignty, and truth. I now know that the path I walk was never meant to be smooth. It was meant to be authentic.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Alchemy Holistic Beauty and Wellness?
Alchemy Holistic Beauty & Wellness is an extension of who I am and how I move through the world. It is not a traditional med spa and it was never meant to be. Alchemy exists at the intersection of science, intuition, beauty, and deep healing. What we do goes far beyond surface level treatments. Yes, we offer aesthetic services such as clean neuromodulators, collagen and elastin biostimulators, PRF, hyaluronic acid fillers, IV therapy, vitamin injections, and metabolic longevity, naturopath and peptide consultations. But those services are simply tools. The real work is helping people come back into relationship with their bodies.
What sets Alchemy apart is that we do not chase trends or quick fixes. Every service is rooted in education, nervous system awareness, and long term sustainability. I specialize in helping clients understand why their body looks or feels the way it does and how internal health, hormones, stress, trauma, environment, and lifestyle all show up on the skin and in the aging process. Beauty is not something we inject into people. It is something we help them restore from the inside out.
Beyond in person services, my work has expanded into the digital space through Korie Coyazo Wellness. This includes my ebook and educational resources, online programs, and a growing sacred community designed for those who are ready to heal on a deeper level. These offerings allow people to access my teachings, guidance, and philosophy no matter where they are in the world, and they emphasize self trust, sovereignty, and embodied healing rather than dependency on appointments or products.
Brand wise, what I am most proud of is integrity. Alchemy is honest. We do not over promise. We do not operate from fear based marketing. We do not ask people to abandon their intuition in order to belong. The brand is built on transparency, consent, and respect for the body’s innate intelligence. It attracts people who are ready to slow down, get curious, and take responsibility for their health in a compassionate way.
What I want readers to know is that Alchemy is a sanctuary, not a factory. It is a space for those who feel called to something deeper than surface level beauty. True beauty and wellness come from alignment, regulation, and self awareness. Everything we offer, whether it is an aesthetic treatment, a wellness consultation, an ebook, or a digital community, is designed to support that remembering.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is remembering who I am when everything unnecessary falls away.
I grew up on a horse farm, and nature has always been my true home. Some of my earliest and deepest peace came from being outside, surrounded by animals, trees, open land, and fresh air. To this day, nothing grounds me more than being in nature. Standing barefoot in the grass, walking among trees, being near rivers or the ocean, listening to birds, feeling the rhythm of the earth. That is where my nervous system settles and my heart opens. It is also why so much of my work is about reconnecting people back to nature, back to their bodies, and back to the quiet love that lives underneath the noise.
I find joy in the simple, sacred moments. Singing, laughing, writing my blog, traveling, and dancing with my husband in our kitchen. Going to bed early and waking up rested. Choosing rest without guilt. Letting go of hustle culture and honoring my own natural rhythms, including moving in alignment with my moon cycle. Protecting my boundaries fiercely and lovingly, knowing that peace is something I cultivate, not something I sacrifice.
My work also brings me deep fulfillment. Just yesterday, I had two clients cry after seeing their aesthetic results. Not because they looked different, but because they felt seen, softened, and back in their bodies. Moments like that remind me why I do what I do. Helping people reconnect with themselves, feel safe in their skin, and remember their worth is one of the greatest joys of my life.
I love learning and teaching. I love educating, planting seeds of consciousness, and having deep, intellectually stimulating conversations that expand the way we see the world. I am a forever student, always reading two or three books at a time, always curious, always growing. I love moving my body through hot yoga, workouts, and intuitive movement. I love feeling strong and alive in my body.
Happiness for me is balance. It is the ability to think deeply, feel fully, move freely, and rest when my body asks for it. It is living in alignment with my values, my intuition, and the natural world. When I am connected to nature, honoring my boundaries, and allowing myself to be both expansive and still, that is when I feel most whole.
