Hi Kenisha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello my story is a little bit different as I’ve had a pleasure of wearing many hats and being what they call a “Jack of all trades” I noticed that this would be my destiny at a young age as I would be always doing something from nails to hair as the first real talents that I noticed then as I got older I realized my love for culinary arts so I pursued a new career in catering and party planning I did that for about 10 years as Covid approached I went back into the beauty industry…. Kinda of crazy right exactly same thing I was thinking… as many were shut down I worked straight through the shutdown in which I made more money than I had ever made in my life as I was not only doing eyelash extensions facials and waxing I had went to Mexico to learn after care for cosmetic surgery clients this is what changed my life ! I took off I had money to invest into commercial real estate which gave me the stability I’d always prayed for. I had dipped into financial services as I would book keep my own books and some of the other small businesses I rented to and developed an interest with it. In 2021 I became a Federal Tax Professional. I now own a Tax Software Company.
Certified Pro Software in which I not only prepare Federal Tax returns I coach other Tax pros all over the world. As I’ve did many things in my life this has to be the best choice I had made it’s changed not only my life my partners that I work with and all of our clients. That’s what makes me happy. I finally became the change in this world all while living the life I’ve always prayed for.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The real struggle has always been the fact I want to help everyone and include people when sometimes that blessing is only for you I used my past as a stair step into my career… with all my talents it was no way I could not beat the odds !
