Hi Heather, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I have been doing hair for 15+ years. I went to school at Paul Mitchell in Wichita.

I used my savings and decided to immediately go out on my own doing booth rental in a small salon in Andover KS( my hometown )

Several years later I took the plunge to my own small suite salon.

Over the years I’ve pored into education and hair extensions.

I myself struggle with hair loss and fine thin hair, as well as post partum hair loss. This route just felt right for me.

When you are passionate about what you do, it’s easier to market yourself.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s never a smooth road, right ?

With great success , comes great failures .

Over the years my business has steadily grown but behind the scenes things were a struggle.

Months where I didn’t get to tuck my kids into bed, months where I had to pull funds from our personal accounts to fund the business.

When I started hiring assistants and creating them into extension stylists, the real hard work started.

It’s hard to pour into people and have them leave you right after they gain the knowledge.

I learned to lead with a servant heart and that has helped me grow my business.

We specialize in Hair Extensions and customized color services.

We are in the market to help women who have struggled with hair loss, thinning hair, broken hair and hair that just won’t grow.

We offer two methods, NBR extensions and Concealed by Covet and Mane.

How do you think about happiness?
My family is always my number one!

My salon family is a close second.

Spending time for me is so important for my mental health. I love being a part of my local book club, playing golf, and currently obsessed with Mahjong.
