Today we’d like to introduce you to Hayley Witte
Hi Hayley, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have been a Registered Nurse since 2012. When we got married in 2015 I already knew I didn’t want to continue nursing once we had kids and work long hours, call, weekends and be away from my family. We were in a situation where we needed my income to live though so I started my first “side hustle.” It helped supplement our income for a few years but not to the point where I could leave my career. I also was just scared to leave the “security” of my job. When the pandemic started in 2020 I was working PRN consistently 30 hours a week, but since I was considered an as needed employee I was furloughed for 3 months with no pay or benefits. By October I still had not got back to my full hours and was pregnant with our second baby so I decided to leave nursing for good.
In 2022 the network marketing business that had previously been supporting our family had started to crumble as a company, but I was also postpartum at that time and had a 3 year old. In April of 2022 my dad got diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and he passed away in May of 2022, just one month later. I knew then that I couldn’t continue to show up on social media and work a business that required me to be plugged in constantly. It was a really big pivotal moment for our family because I got really clear on what I wanted (freedom) and what I didn’t want which was working from my phone constantly.
2022 was extremely hard on us. We drained our savings accounts, cancelled vacations, cancelled subscriptions, and stop taking dates as a couple for 6 months so we could pay our bills. I dove into educating myself on how I could create a more automated business so that it could still produce income when life happened and I couldn’t be plugged in and online all the time like I had to be in a network marketing business.
In 2023 I found digital marketing where ordinary moms were setting up sales funnels and email automations to sell digital products about things they were passionate about. I started out promoting someone else’s products as an affiliate in January of 2023 with the goal to create my own eventually as I learned. It took me about 5 months to gain any momentum with that business and as I got better and continued to learn and grow I ended up generating our family over 320k from May to December 2023 with digital products and automated systems. Needless to say it completely changed our family’s life in major ways and I finally started to feel like i was achieving that freedom that I had been working so long for.
In 2024 I came together with other female creators and we formed our own company and llc “The Creators Code” we all came from different backgrounds and wanted to fill the gaps from other programs and products we had sold in the past.
We have our own affiliate program now where we pay creators who want to promote our products. We set up all of their systems, website, emails, we have 100 days of social media done for them, and our mentorship is included. We do this for any business, any niche, and any product – or if they just want to use our products we have that option too. We were able to pay our affiliates over 58,000$ in the first 45 days of launching just this last November 2024.
2024 was a major growth year for us, being our first year in business, but still very profitable and blessed our family so much. I am REALLY excited to help other working moms and people who want to create extra income online in 2025 with a system that is working so well for so many.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So many struggles!! I didn’t make any money from January to April in 2023 which was hard in general because we needed it so badly.
We also had a couple of bad business partnerships that did not end well and put us in situations where we had to shift and make decisions very quickly to keep our business going. There were a few months where we were literally just doing whatever we needed to do to survive that first year of business.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was the youngest of 3. The typical baby of the family, silly and not afraid to be myself. My mom wrote in my baby book that I had a big personality and would someday be an entertainer of some sort. Which I think social media content creation is a form of entertainment!
My family all says I was just such a happy kid. I was always very outgoing and social. I grew up loving dance and gymnastics, music, and i always said I would become a nurse like my mom – I even wrote a paper on it when I was 10 that she framed at my Graduation Party when I got my Bachelors of Science in Nursing.
I also remember always saying I wanted to be a fancy business woman, live in a city, and carry a briefcase, haha. Now I am a little of all of those things mixed together, without the fancy part.
