Hi Dayna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Earthbound Elements was a title written down in my journal in 2012. It was originally thought of to be a boutique of some kind. In 2017, the brand and label came to life as a side hustle while working for corporations.

In 2024 and after years of traditional retail leadership, I struggled with alignment. I realized I needed more heart, more purpose, and to use myself as a vessel to make more impact on a broader scale with people. I broke free from traditional systems of leadership while stepping into my true purpose. I have connected my leadership skills into an entrepreneurship journey with clear vision, innovation, and strategic thinking. I am actively collaborating and forming partnerships in the community and on platforms to navigate target customers, opportunities, and markets to create and sell products that people love.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, I wish I could say it has been a smooth road, but the challenges and failures have been the ultimate guides and teachers in steering the journey through entrepreneurship. The bumps in the road really become the building blocks in achieving your next goal and vision. Resilience and strategic thinking will always be a key ingredient to pursue this kind of pathway.

Earthbound Elements is a small business located in Kansas City, Missouri. The brand is inspired by the four elements that supports the cycles of life on our planet – Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Our E•E Signature candle line recipes were perfected to reflect the spirit of each season and element at its best. We desire to mindfully create home goods that are from the Earth. Each piece is familiar and unique in its own earned right. Our products are available on our official website, local Missouri vendor booths, and most mainstream social media platforms. We really enjoy sharing our handmade products where we can maximize from easy sharing that allows E•E in our customer’s homes.
3% is donated to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society for every purchase made with us. We believe in using our handmade home goods to help raise awareness and aid research in racing for cures or significant relief from Multiple Sclerosis. It is a nervous system disease that we hold close to our hearts as we have watched the effects it carries on people dear to our hearts.
We wanted to make sure our brand aligned with our purpose to help create an intentional impact and provide humane support to the world. Our customers are mostly locally based in Kansas City, Missouri. We have gained a strong clientele by participating in local Farmers Markets, holiday Sip & Shops, Fundraisers, and more.

There is no better investment than the belief and investments you put into yourself. Being able to utilize personal knowledge gained in life experiences and talents being used to feed and nourish a part of you is the biggest motivator. There is an empowerment and pride that comes with listening to your heart’s whispers and being able to say, “I am doing this!”

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
It matters to have a sense of freedom and the health of my spirit is thriving, pursuing dreams and goals every day. It provides great satisfaction and a friendly feeling with reminders that I have made the right changes to be able to do what I am doing with Earthbound • Elements. I measure the success by ‘just doing it’, building it from the ground up, and creating. E•E is driven, focused, grateful, and excited for 2025!
