The Blakk Co. Social Club started in 2020 to give Black-Brown Men in the community a space to breathe after the onset of world-wide outcry of George Floyd
In 2022, we because a coed Social Club welcoming Black-Brown Women through programs rooted in personal development, professional networking and elevated social gatherings and events
Today we serve as Kansas City’s Premier Social Club for Communities of Color featuring a variety of core programs such as Blakk Man Speaks, The Crown Collective, 1824 Project, Business Live! Happy Hours, Speakeasy and carefully curated experiences designed to uplift, empower and encourage our members and communities alike with access through membership and community base free events

Launching in the midst of the pandemic, switching marketing strategies, moving locations and more have challenged us in good ways to learn how to quickly pivot and adapt to keep the business alive and present

The Blakk Co. Social Club is Kansas City’s Premier Social Club for Communities of Color located Midtown Kansas City in the Historic Wonder Building at 30th & Troost
As a modern day social club we are deeply committed to uplifting, empowering and encouraging our members and community alike through membership programs and community base events
We specialize in speaker series and a host of curated events tailored to fit a variety of our patrons social needs including events such as B.O.S.S. Up Series, Business Networking & Happy Hours and Social Experiences
What sets us apart, we are the first black-owned, woman-owned modern day social club with a physical location rooted and fashioned in the historic rich culture of The Black Social Club Era of Kansas City, expanding our reach of members from both Missouri and Kansas, bringing together a diverse mix of backgrounds and experiences of individuals who truly want to move the needle forward collectively
We are most proud to carry forward the legacy of our ancestors, social clubs of yesteryears through the education and preservation of The Black Social Club movement, additionally grateful to walk into 5 years, reaching and touching thousands of Kansas Citians through our space, membership, programs and community events
