Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My passion for esthetics came to me in my younger years, being a darker skinned girl my mother always instilled in me to take care of my skin and that is something that stuck with me. As I got older people would always compliment my skin which gave me the upmost confidence because that’s something that I prided myself on. I then started researching about esthetics and it was my dream to be an esthetician but the timing never aligned for me to go to school. In March of 2023 the opportunity presented itself for me to study esthetics and I hopped on it and that is how AP Esthetics got started.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This journey has not been easy, schooling became hard for me due to me being pregnant with my son which resulted in me missing so many days and pushed my graduation date 2months back. I eventually pushed through even though I was becoming discouraged and passed my state boards with a 90% so all in all everything was worth it and the discouragements just made me push harder. Starting up my business was also hard because my support was little to none, I was a new mom trying to navigate taking care of my son while also working & trying to build my business from the ground up but in the end with prayer, dedication, and staying the course it all aligned for me.

We’ve been impressed with AP Esthetics , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
AP Esthetics was curated to fit the clients needs. Your skin is the biggest organ in your body and we our here to correct and improve all skin care concerns. AP Esthetics specializes in facials that are tailored specifically for YOU and YOUR concerns for YOUR skin. Body Waxing is another speciality that we offer here at AP Esthetics specializing in Brazilians & Underarm Waxing. What sets AP Esthetics apart is we are very passionate about our work, it’s not about the money and we aren’t in this business for a quick buck. AP Esthetics genuinely loves what they do and loves that clients are benefiting from these services by enhancing their confidence by correcting their concerns. I am most proud that God gave me this desire to become an Esthetician to be a vessel to help people improve their skin. AP Esthetics is open Monday-Saturday 9am to 5pm inside of Style Collective Studios offering facials & body waxing providing you with the best service for your skin care concerns while also ensuring you’re experiencing the upmost relaxation.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am furthering my career in the health care field to help others and also to provide Botox & Fillers so that I can eventually open up my very own Aesthetic Spa.
