Hidden Gems: Meet Attorney Andres of AGH Law Firm

Today we’d like to introduce you to Attorney Andres.

Hi Attorney Andres , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started in immigration and personal injury work because I saw firsthand how confusing, overwhelming, and sometimes intimidating the legal system can be for immigrant families. Many people don’t know their rights, don’t have access to reliable information, or are afraid to seek help. I wanted to build something that felt different—something rooted in service, trust, and community.

In the beginning, it was just me, a passion for helping others, and a desire to show that legal support can be both professional and human. Little by little, through consistency and dedication, our work began to grow. As more families came to us—often through word of mouth—we recognized the need for a firm that not only offered legal solutions, but also understood the cultural, emotional, and practical realities our community faces.

That vision led to the creation of AGH Law. Today, we are proud to represent clients across Kansas, Missouri and Arizona, in both immigration and personal injury cases. Our success has come from staying true to what motivated us in the first place: treating people with dignity, doing the work with heart, and being present for our community in meaningful ways.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and I don’t think any meaningful work ever is. Like many people who start something from the ground up, I faced a lot of challenges—both practical and personal.

One of the biggest struggles was earning trust in communities that have been taken advantage of far too many times. Many immigrants have had painful experiences with notarios, misinformation, or legal professionals who didn’t take the time to explain things clearly. Building credibility required patience, consistency, and showing up for people long before they became clients.

Another challenge was learning how to balance growth with quality. As more families began seeking help, it became essential to build a team that shared the same values—compassion, transparency, and community service. That process took time and intention.

There were also the everyday obstacles: navigating complex cases, adapting to rapidly changing immigration policies, and running a business while serving clients who are often going through the most difficult moments of their lives.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
At AGH Law, we focus on immigration and personal injury, and we’re proud to serve individuals and families who often feel lost in the legal system. Our goal is simple: to offer guidance that is professional, honest, and human.

What we do

We help clients with asylum, family petitions, VAWA, U Visas, green cards, deportation defense, and accident cases. But what truly defines us is the way we support people—with compassion, clarity, and respect.

What sets us apart

We are deeply connected to the community. Our team is bilingual, culturally aware, and actively involved in outreach, education, and workshops. Clients know us for being accessible, transparent, and genuinely committed to their well-being.

What we’re proud of

We’ve built a brand based on trust. Families come to us because they know we will listen, explain, and fight for them. We want readers to know that at AGH Law, you’re not just a case—you’re a person, and your story matters.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I believe the quality that has contributed most to my success is the ability to truly listen. So many people come to us feeling scared, overwhelmed, or unsure of who to trust. Taking the time to understand their story—not just their legal problem—allows us to guide them more effectively and build relationships rooted in trust and respect.
