Hi Zareenaah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I decided to go to Esthetics school in 2019, however, my story with skincare starts earlier. In my teen years, I’ve always had pretty good skin, and I experimented with the little skincare products I knew of in 2016. Once I started my winter semester in college of 2019, my skin actually started to have inflamed acne and hyperpigmentation issues. I tried Proactiv and Curology, which pushed me into looking elsewhere for relief. I went on Twitter and found estheticians that had a lot of informative videos and posts, which encouraged me to pick up a few books and learn more about esthetics. I then started to help a few people, then finally went to esthetics school, finishing in April 2022 and opening my first location in Gladstone, MO.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has definitely not been easy, I’ve had many unexpected changes and experiences, including moving my business from Missouri to Kansas and rebuilding clientele, these experiences have shaped my business in the direction that I am currently in and heading towards in the future, and to hopefully be able to share my stories with others who can relate and also learn from.

I am A licensed esthetician in Kansas and Missouri, Located in KCK, Wyandotte county at Right Touch Beauty, born and raised from Wyandotte County. I have certifications in Oncology, Chemical Peels, Menopausal skin. I am a Skin/Facial specialist, focused on the health of the skin primarily, but I just so happen to offer many services. I provide body services to treat skin all over and Virtual Consultations and Care for clients that are far from Kansas City, whether they moved for college or career development, and they want to keep up with their maintenance. I am a Brazilian Waxer, Lash Artist and Provide Brow services as well.
What I hope sets me apart from other estheticians and what I am proud about golden esthetics is my knowledge for ingredients to understand what a product should do vs its claims, my continued education to learn about different services my clients would like to experience if it fits in their treatment plan or even their lash and brow style, and also my sunny disposition. Golden esthetics the name of my business comes from my name meaning golden and friendly. I hope that everyone that experiences golden esthetics leaves with a lot of knowledge about their skin and how to treat it but also with a friend who knows about their skin and different esthetic needs and they can speak to freely with no judgement.
