It started 1.5 years ago with just Shaun and John, it was called Shaun-John Detailing and they didn’t have much, but they got the job done. 8 months ago, Liam joined the team, bringing a car, our iconic company mustang, and some good marketing and business skills. After that, the company took off to now having 9 employees and fully booked summer months. Wisdom Detail has expanded well beyond what Shaun-John Detailing dreamed of being.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Money, as high schoolers, the pursuit of the highest quality chemicals and equipment while staying cost effective for the customer and profitable for the business was a big struggle. We always aim to give our customers the best price, even if it means losing money on some services.

We have services like ceramic coating, carpet steaming, trim restoration exterior and interior scratch removal, and air freshener bomb, all for less than 10% of the competition’s price. We offer the big business services with the small business pricing and service. The thing I love most about detailing is the customer’s reaction to their car that has just been restored to that showroom quality shine. Nothing is better than seeing their face light up, especially if they have never had a car detailed before. We have the most comprehensive and competitive pricing that allows anyone to share in this joy.

- Our highest package, which includes every service we offer, is only $275, cheaper than most detailing business’s lowest package
