Hi Whitney, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started in the beauty industry in 2008, attending cosmetology school the fall following graduation. I have always had a passion for making women like myself feel as beautiful and loved as they should. As a young woman that endured being bullied at a young age, the pain was transformed into passion. About eight years into my career, I decided I wanted to explore other services outside of standing behind the chair. I discovered brows, lashes and other beauty services I wasn’t taught in cosmetology school and fell in love. I own and operate as Broww Plugg Kc.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It hasn’t been the easiest journey, but it definitely hasn’t been the worst. My journey definitely helped mold the business woman I am today. It’s taught me an endless amount of growth, discipline and grit. I’d say my biggest setback was me not seeing my own talent. Not to sound full of myself, but I have some close friends that pushed for me to take myself serious and the moment I did, it was GO time lol.

As you know, we’re big fans of Broww Plugg Kc. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Here at Broww Plugg Kc, we specialize in brows. I like to call myself the brow boss, earned by my dedication and precision. Our most respected and requested service is our Broww sculpt and tint, I feel like what sets this “experience “ apart from the many like it is my love and passion for what I do. It’s definitely not your typical in and out brow service. Here we respect your time and make sure that you know it, every minute used for your service is meant to create the most beautiful pair of brows you’ve ever had. Aside from the brow services, I hope to offer a vibe and space that allows my guest to leave whatever is going on in life at the door and the positive quotes on the walls find them when they need it most, the energy I create feels genuine so my guest are their self with me and I cherish that.
