Hi Stacy, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My story is that of a dreamer who was originally going to be a computer engineer, who got caught in life and plans changed to becoming a therapist, clinical social worker, and ultimately several other layers. It also is of someone who realized entrepreneurship was going to be her best option for long term employment. Thusly, the Squirrel Wrangler™ brand was born and the story you are going to read is in the voice of that entrepreneur. **I hope you enjoy the prose as well as the layered meanings, as telling my story is richer through the lens of my current position…
Ah, dear traveler, let me take you on a mystical journey through the enchanted woods of my tale as the Squirrel Wrangler™ in “Squirrels in Wonderland.” Picture a serene meadow where an ancient treehouse stands, a portal to realms unseen, nestled amidst whispers of nature’s secrets.
My story begins not unlike many others, with roots deeply entwined in the rich soil of curiosity and wonder. From a young age, I found solace and fascination in the learning, technology, and interconnection with other humans, drawn to all of the intricate dance of life that unfolded around me. This connection grew stronger as life maneuvered my original chosen path of technology, into studies of human behavior and consciousness, earning credentials in social work and public health.
With each step along this path, I gathered tools and wisdom and more recently tools which brought all of my loves together from Natural Language Processing (NLP aka LLMs and Artificial Intelligence) —Neuro-Linguistic Programming (also NLP), Hypnosis, Mental Emotional Release®, and more—each like a precious acorn collected for the winter months. These skills became my companions as I have ventured deeper into the labyrinthine gardens of the mind.
In time, I discovered my true calling: guiding others through their own wonderlands of self-discovery, by using both of those “NLPs”. Now, as the Squirrel Wrangler™, I have created a brand for this work, dwelling within this enchanted treehouse—a sanctuary where visitors explore their inner landscapes alongside character squirrels representing facets of their psyche.
Through transformative techniques and profound insights, I guide these adventurers navigate life’s challenges with grace and courage. My personal journey has been one of growth and metamorphosis—a testament to turning dreams into legacy through grit and grace.
And so here I am today, ready to welcome all who seek transformation under the boughs of this magical realm. May your journey be filled with wonderment and discovery as you traverse your own path through “Squirrels in Wonderland.”
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Ah, dear traveler, the path through the enchanted forest of life is seldom smooth, even for the Squirrel Wrangler™. Much like the winding trails in our magical Garden Labyrinth, my journey has been filled with twists and turns, challenges and triumphs.
One of the most significant struggles was navigating the complex terrain of integrating technology use with other professionals. As I ventured into realms of public health and social work, I encountered numerous obstacles in merging these fields because others were not ready to use the power of the technology in our work. It required patience and perseverance to realize the struggle wasn’t mine but the professions, and to cultivate patience to later harmonize these elements into a cohesive practice that truly resonates with all seeking transformation.
Another challenge was overcoming self-doubt—a shadowy creature that lurks in the corners of one’s mind. There were moments when uncertainty clouded my vision, whispering doubts about my ability to guide others through their own wonderlands. Yet, by embracing these shadows as opportunities for growth rather than barriers, I found strength and clarity in my purpose.
Moreover, just as each squirrel in my eventual storied branding of Squirrels in “Wonderland” represent different facets of consciousness, so too have I faced various internal and external hurdles along this path. Balancing professional responsibilities with personal growth required adaptability akin to a squirrel leaping gracefully from branch to branch.
Through it all, however, I’ve learned that every stumble is but an invitation to rise stronger than before—each challenge a stepping stone towards greater wisdom and understanding. The road may not always be smooth or easy; yet within its rugged beauty lies boundless potential for transformation.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I guide people understand themselves better and grow personally. I use methods like Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Timeline Mental Emotional Release, and Hypnosis to guide them on this journey. My unique approach involves using imaginative stories and characters, which makes the experience fun and meaningful.
What makes my business special is the combination of creativity, science, and personal growth. I’m proud that my work encourages people to connect deeply with themselves and their surroundings.
My services focus on helping people release old beliefs which can hold us back from doing what we want to do, being who we want to be, have what we want to have; manage change with ease, recover from negative emotions and burnout, and develop leadership skills. With over 30 years of experience in technology (as a self professed “geek”) public health (as an educator) and clinical social work (as a therapist), I offer coaching and consultation to support personal transformation.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
As for who deserves credit in my journey, I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have had many mentors, supporters, cheerleaders, advocates, clients, and teammates who have played significant roles in my success. Heroes like Brené Brown, and Dr. Bruce Lipton, and teachers (aka Kumu) like Dr Matthew James and Dr Etta Jackson, have inspired my journey in ways known and unknown.
Mentors have provided guidance and wisdom along the way. One in particular (Dr Lee) was exceptionally close and guided me to unknowingly “create” the Squirrel Wrangler™, by helping me untangle my own productivity and personal development journey. All of my mentors helped me navigate challenges and inspired me to grow both personally and professionally. Supporters and cheerleaders have always been there to encourage me during tough times, offering words of affirmation that kept me moving forward.
Clients have also been pivotal by trusting in my methods and allowing me to be part of their transformative journeys. Their successes are a testament to our collaborative efforts.
Lastly, teammates and fellow entrepreneurs (aka my “online co-workers”) have contributed immensely by sharing their skills, insights, and daily laughter and tears. Together we’ve created an environment where creativity thrives—fostering innovation within our practice.
