Today we’d like to introduce you to Melinda Eubank.
Hi Melinda, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
As long as I can remember I have had a passion for design. From a young girl, I would help my mother rearrange our home growing up and constantly would want to rearrange my bedroom. My father has been in the construction business for many years and I had the pleasure of hanging out on the job site with him before I could walk. Fast forward to living in the Dallas area, I managed a business where I got to help clients with new construction and remodels. This is where I began to use my creative side in designing beautiful indoor, and outdoor kitchens bathrooms, fireplaces – basically anything that could be made of natural stone or quartz. Once I relocated to Cincinnati, helping friends with their homes came natural to me. This was how I met people and socialized. Our final move to Northwest Missouri came in 2021 to be near our family. In 2022 I was asked to be on a Christmas home tour. After the tour, I had people reach out and ask me to help them decorate their spaces. After the loss of my mother and with my children grown now, I needed something for myself. With encouragement from a special cousin to help my brand my business, Eubank Home & Living was launched in May of 2023. I have been blessed to help countless numbers of families build dream homes, remodel, and redecorate along with helping businesses with creating the perfect space for their clients since opening my doors. I have met the most amazing people and cannot wait to help make more spaces stunning.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not been exactly smooth. NW Missouri has a lot of male contractors, and you do not often see women walk onto a job site. My biggest hurdle has been being a female in a male dominated world. With that being said, there are many great contractors out there that do respect my take and are more than happy to work with EHL and for this I am thankful.

Eubank Home & Living is an interior design studio that offers project coordination for new construction homes along with remodels. At EHL, no project is too big or small and we love the connections we make with our clients. We work extremely hard to get to know the needs and desires, that fit the families of our clients, so the project turns out just as expected. EHL continues to find the best practices and contractors for each individual job we work on. EHL is NOT a one-size fits all interior design studio. We source items that are out of the box and enjoy using items that have a true meaning to the client we are helping. EHL is here to help you with all of your construction and interior design questions as we know your home is most often your biggest investment and often times you have not had to make these decisions before. We understand the construction process and want you to feel comfortable too.
