Today we’d like to introduce you to Maricela Spratt.
Hi Maricela, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I come from a proud Ecuadorian background where hard work, perseverance, and family values were always at the center of everything. My journey hasn’t been a straight line it’s been full of challenges, lessons, and growth. I started with a simple dream: to create opportunities not only for myself but also for others who come from communities like mine.
Early on, I learned the importance of resilience. As a latina woman, I often found myself in spaces where I had to prove my worth twice over. Instead of letting that discourage me, I used it as fuel. Every setback became a stepping stone, every closed door pushed me to build my own. Over the years, I invested in my education, leaned on my cultural roots, and stayed committed to my vision.
Today, I stand where I am because of equal parts determination, faith, and the support of people who believed in me. I want my story to show young Latinas that you don’t have to fit into someone else’s mold you can create your own lane, honor your culture, and still succeed on your own terms.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey hasn’t been a smooth road, and I think that’s true for most people who are trying to build something meaningful. There have been moments of doubt, and times when it felt like the opportunities just weren’t there. Being a Latina in spaces where representation is limited also came with its own challenges I often had to work twice as hard to be seen and heard.
But each struggle taught me something valuable. They strengthened my resilience, clarified my vision, and reminded me why I started in the first place. Every obstacle became a lesson and an opportunity to grow, and I believe that the challenges along the way have made my successes even more meaningful.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
My notary business is built on professionalism, precision, and trust. I specialize in loan signings, real estate documents, and general notary services, and what sets me apart is the client experience I provide. I understand that when someone comes to a notary, it’s often during a major life moment buying a home, starting a business, finalizing important agreements and those moments deserve the highest level of care.
What I’m most proud of brand-wise is creating a service that feels both professional and approachable. My goal is to take the stress out of paperwork by offering a seamless, detail-oriented process where clients know their documents are in capable hands. As a Latina-owned business, I also bring cultural understanding and accessibility, making my services welcoming to a diverse community.
For readers, I want them to know my brand is rooted in integrity and excellence. Whether you need a one-time notarization or ongoing loan signing support, I bring not just a stamp, but a commitment to making sure every signature and detail is handled with accuracy and respect.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that consistency and integrity will always set you apart. In this industry, details matter and so does the way you treat people. I’ve learned that clients don’t just remember that you notarized their documents, they remember how you made them feel during an important moment in their lives. Staying dependable, professional, and kind has opened more doors than any shortcut ever could.
