Today we’d like to introduce you to Lainey Lake.

Hi Lainey, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I had grown up in the Kansas City area and ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to be a health care provider in a private practice here in my hometown. I received my doctorate in Audiology, graduating from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2013. I started Hearing and Balance Specialists of Kansas City with my business partners, Sam Bittel and Laura Flowers, in April 2017 to provide a one of a kind specialty audiology clinic at the the highest quality of service to all of our patients. We specialize in hearing loss, hearing aids, tinnitus, vestibular,​vestibular rehabilitation, concussion,​speech pathology, and auditory processing services. My specific specialty is in hearing loss, hearing aids, and auditory processing services. I enjoy the ability to see all ages and improve people’s lives through better hearing and/or rehabilitation.

We are opening an Overland Park office location in October 2021.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We started our practice from nothing. We opened our doors with no patients and built our way up to where we are today. Before we opened, we as providers were answering the telephone in our homes to schedule patients.
