Exploring Life & Business with Jen Houser of On The House Mobile Bar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jen Houser.

Hi Jen, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
The mobile bar idea formed while enjoying mimosas at brunch when visiting my sisters. My husband, Jake, and I had always dreamed of owning our own business, and we saw a need in our area. We love to host events in our home, celebrating friends and family, so I quit my teaching job, and we hit the ground running. We were excited to bring an upscale, elevated beverage experience to our area and have worked hard to establish our brand.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The biggest challenge was balancing my teaching job and our growing business before the school year ended. We have been very fortunate to have very minimal struggles. Thankfully, it’s been a smooth road overall.

As you know, we’re big fans of On The House Mobile Bar. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
We are a custom-built cocktail bar on wheels serving Northwest Arkansas. Our main goal is to help our clients elevate their events by providing delicious, elevated cocktails and full service.

On The House Mobile Bar offers a seasonal array of beautifully constructed cocktails with great flavor and taste. We are certified and insured bartenders, and our customizable packages come fully equipped. We will help you make your selections to match the mood of your event and food pairings. We are establishing an honorable reputation based on our organized and hospitable bar services with elevated cocktails, no matter how big or small the event. Versatility is one of our specialties, and you won’t want to miss the chance to sip from our seasonal menu! We deliver exceptional taste and service that stand out from the rest.

Our biggest accomplishment was being recognized as a feature trend in the 2023 Spring and Summer edition of Arkansas Bride Magazine.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
We love to work with other vendors, and one way to do that is through styled shoots. We have also had the privilege of being added as a preferred vendor for several local venues, and having their support is huge. The biggest way to show your support of someone’s business is through social media likes, comments, and sharing posts. If you’ve been a client, another option is to share your experience through a Google or Facebook Review.
