Exploring Life & Business with Eric Reilly of ARTISAN HOME SOLUTIONS

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Reilly.

Hi Eric, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started doing drywall work the summer of my sophomore year of high school with my Dad. Over the years I have worked different styles of construction jobs but always came back to drywall. I’ve since incorporated the skills I learned from those jobs into my own business. I made the decision to start my own business after my kids started growing up and my sons decided they were also interested in construction style work.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road. Just as any small business we struggle with making sure our schedule stays full. Staying up on advertising and constantly thinking of ways we can continue to grow as a small business. We pride ourselves on making sure that the quality of work we complete is just how the customers want so sometimes that means going back for “touch ups” multiple times. This means sometimes we put in long hours and at times work 7 days a week.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about ARTISAN HOME SOLUTIONS?
We are a small, family-owned and operated business. We specialize in home remodeling, primarily drywall (hanging, finishing, repair and texture), paint (both interior and exterior) and installing LVP flooring. We also can assist with many small handymen type of projects.

One thing that sets us apart from others is that we offer affordable home remodeling. We did not come from wealth, so we know how it is to just get by yet want/need comfort in our home. We know how to work hard to ensure that the projects we work on are completed to what the customers need/want.

We take pride in the work we do. Customer Service is always the top of our priority list. We are honest and will always be truthful about what to expect from us. Our brand is our family. We are a family ran business, so we know that our core values are being followed on each job.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
When I think through our 5-year plan, Growth is the word that comes to mind.

We are working on improving our online presence as well as to be more consistent online to assist in our volume growth, but we are also looking at various services to better assist our customers such as expanded payment options, financing opportunities etc.

We have been looking into continuous learning opportunities for our team, so that we can consistently stay up to date on techniques.

One of our biggest plans we are currently working through for 2026 is to be better and more involved in our local community as well as we are looking for more volunteer opportunities and/or charities to give back to.

We feel beyond blessed to be able to have the opportunity to not only do what we love but do it with people we love.
