Exploring Life & Business with Danielle Welch of Bridge Consulting & Design

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Welch.

Danielle, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was working for a large advertising agency for several years as a digital marketing consultant. Every day I spoke with small businesses across the country about their digital marketing strategy and always put special attention on their social media pages.

At the time, Facebook Business pages were a new thing (as was Instagram) and the technology seemed to grow at a pace that a lot of small businesses didn’t know how to keep up because they were unfamiliar with the platform.

As time continued to go on, I noticed that businesses were either not putting enough energy or focus into their social media marketing plan because of lack of time or lack of financial resources to pay for it.

I also saw that the agency I was working for was, quite honestly, overcharging these businesses for services that weren’t that difficult to do on their own if they wanted to. Most of my clients just didn’t know how and didn’t want to spend years figuring it out.

That is when I decided to take everything that I had learned in that role, do my own studying and researching of how to build out a social media marketing plan that could be duplicated across many various types of businesses.

What I found was that the process could be implemented into any business, but what couldn’t wasn’t the content and brand messaging that would get posted.

So I created a system and a process to help small businesses solve three of their main problems:

1) How to do all the tech stuff for creating high-quality social media content.

2) Find their audience, and create content on a consistent basis that was appealing to their audience.

3) Save them time and money by packaging it all into a 6-week course that would include lifetime access so they could continue to come back in the future for more updates as the world of social media continued to change.

Quickly, I took this process and began implementing with all of my one on one management clients and the response from my clients was incredible.

They enjoyed seeing how everything worked together and they had a much better understanding of how to use social media for their business.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it hasn’t been smooth. I would like to meet an entrepreneur that could answer that question with a YES for their entire career. LOL

Some of the biggest struggles were with my own internal systems and process where I was spending too much time on things that didn’t always create the greatest return on my time.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Playing Sports and Traveling in a 1987 Chevy Suburban with my family to Leavenworth, Washington in 1999 then taking a month to drive back home to Kansas and we drove down the pacific coast highway and then cut through the backside of the Rockies.
