Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandi Stimpson.
Hi Brandi, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my Etsy shop when my photography studio was closed for a bit during COVID and it took off and I’ve worked it for seven years now. This past year I’ve added two vintage booths in Antique malls near me. I adore sourcing vintage home decor for others to create a unique home of their own.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was a huge learning curve figuring out marketing for an online shop verses my photography studio in person. I’ve learned so much from the ups and downs and am thankful for all the resources available online to entrepreneurs.
As you know, we’re big fans of Simply Styled Art. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I make and source all of the home decor in my shop and wear every hat imaginable from makes, photographer, marketing, social media, shipping and on. I’m so proud of the wonderful reviews and the people and companies that have worked with me from large design firms in Atlanta to boutique hotels. I love offering cozy unique items that I would personally use in my home.
What makes you happy?
My family and pups! They are there with me cheering me on and my boxers give the best snuggles out there! If I’m not working I’m reading, camping or hanging out on my patio 🫶🏻
