We’re looking forward to introducing you to Dr. Haley Wrisinger. Check out our conversation below.
Haley, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
My mornings are a wild, wonderful testament to my ability to not just handle, but actually thrive in chaotic situations. Forget a gentle alarm clock; my day kicks off the moment my personal two year old project manager, Brooks, delivers his first demand: “hungy mom!” This requires me to instantly pivot from a state of rest to full operational capacity, all in under a minute. My six-month-old serves as my second-in-command, providing constant feedback—mostly in the form of adorable coos and gurgles—which keeps me on my toes as I juggle multiple tasks at once.
If I manage to beat the little ones to the punch, you’ll find me squeezing in a quick morning workout with Doc Lizzie’s online program. This brief moment of calm is the perfect warm-up for the day’s main event.
Once the breakfast demands begin, my mornings turn into a family affair. Brooks is all about “doing it himself” right now, which means he’s my trusty sidekick for letting out and feeding the dogs, and even helping to make our own breakfast. It’s a chaotic but special time for us to connect as a family.
After a morning of teamwork and cuddles, I get ready for the day. Whether I’m heading into the office to see patients or working from home, I always make sure to grab a second breakfast, like a smoothie, before I go. It’s a crazy ride with my little ones, but I know I’ll miss these busy mornings someday.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Dr. Haley, a pediatric, prenatal, and family wellness chiropractor. I focus on optimizing the brain-body connection to help you live a life without limits. I love what I do every day! We get to witness miracles daily, and it is my greatest blessing to be a part of that journey.
In our office, we use Insight Scans to detect any interference in the nervous system that may be preventing you from functioning at your best. These scans show us where your body is holding stress and what symptoms can arise from those areas. We see patients for a wide range of issues, including emotional imbalances, sleep problems, breastfeeding difficulties, overall health and wellness, constipation, allergies, and pain. It’s truly amazing to see how optimizing the brain’s ability to function allows the body to heal and adapt, empowering you to live the life you want.
Within the last year, we hired Dr. Tina, who has been a wonderful addition to our office. She is loving, kind, and a great listener, and our patients constantly rave about her. Hiring Dr. Tina has allowed us to expand our availability and offer intensive care plans. This enables us to serve patients whose symptoms are significantly affecting their daily lives and helps them achieve their health goals faster.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Since opening a business, I have realized that children are our greatest blessings. This has not been one specific moment but moments that have built over the years of serving families and then having my own children. One conversation in particular that will always be ingrained in my memory is with an older gentlemen in our office when he found out I was pregnant with my first. He shared with me that when you have your own children, you will be able to fully understand God’s love for us. He was so right. The love for your own child is miraculous and to imagine how much greater God’s love is for me and you is beautiful to think about. The children we serve are truly tiny miracles walking around. We love serving kiddos and being able to be a small part of creating a healthy foundation for them to grow into thriving adults.
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Within the last six months, I had a tough realization: someone I trusted with my deepest thoughts didn’t respect that trust. They not only shared my personal struggles with others, but also criticized my character, my family, my parenting, and my business. It was a painful betrayal that made me question all my friendships and who I could truly rely on.
This experience, though deeply hurtful, ended up making me stronger. My circle became smaller and closer, and I gained a clearer vision for the life I want to live. I’ve become more intentional about my friendships, marriage, and my relationships with my kids. This whole experience has propelled me to grow and thrive. Every step I take toward my goals feels like a step toward healing, unlocking new potential for both my personal life and my business.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Is the public version of you the real you?
I’m what you might call an introverted extrovert.
In my office, I’m completely in my element and very outgoing. But outside of work, I’m more quiet and reserved. This is how I recharge so I can give my best to my patients. My personal circle is small, and I keep my schedule minimal to conserve my energy for my family and my work.
So, if you ever run into me outside the office, I might seem a little awkward—and for some reason, my brain might completely blank on your name! Don’t worry, it’s not you; my brain just panics and loses all important information in those moments.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would immediately stop working and spend all my time with my family. They are the most important thing in my life, and I cherish this season with my little kids. Our time with them is so short, and they will grow up regardless of whether we are present or not. That’s why I would choose to be present and make the most of every moment.
