Daily Inspiration: Meet Tanisha Chikwe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanisha Chikwe. 

Tanisha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Stylez Remedy started off as a consignment boutique. I had a hallway I was renting inside of a boutique off 39th and Broadway. I use to walk a mile to a bus stop and catch 3 buses from Independence with my then my then 7-year-old child to report to work that store every day! After a while, I realized that I loved to dress nice but selling clothes, not so much. So that season ended fast! But The name was still fly! I just couldn’t let it go… after getting back on my feet, relocating from Independence to lee’s summit, working full time at Ford motors company as a line coordinator, creatively I was missing something. I have been creative my whole life! A characteristic I inherited from my mom. Decorating my home, my daughters’ parties, my sisters bedrooms, and bathrooms you name it! But one day I woke up and said I wanted to try decorating baby showers! First my sister calls said her planner quit and can I assist! Then my best friend called the same week and informs me I’m gonna be a God mom! And we needed to plan the baby shower! The power of manifestation 

Not knowing that it was the beginning of STYLEZ REMEDY EVENTS AND DECOR LLC! 

After 7 years we have server over 100 clients! And still growing! We hold a 5-star rating in customer service. And deliver a quality service to all of our clients in and out of state! 

We are currently located in NKC AND HERE TO SERVE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! 

We love this business and have no letting up anytime soon! 

Stylez Remedy specializes in Luxury weddings Babyshowers, bridal showers, birthday and dinner parties! 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
This journey has not been easy! A lot of trial and error, I was self-taught in a lot of areas in this business so in 2019 after having my second child I decided to invest in educating myself in the industry, the trends, and the latest techniques to set my work apart from other planners and designers in my area.

Tanisha CHIKWE is the head decor stylist of Stylez remedy; her vision is very detailed and clean! Not so busy that you get loss in the design, but just enough to make the vision clear! 

We specialize in Luxury table scapes and over-the-top fresh floral arrangements. 

What’s sets apart are the details! No corner bus left blank. 

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What makes me happy is hearing a clients say, THIS IS MORE THAN I COULD have IMAGINE!!! Or “U AND YOUR TEAM ARE WORTH EVERY DOLLAR SPENT!
