Today we’d like to introduce you to Noah Zoller.
Hi Noah, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born and raised in Kansas City. Besides photography, I found a love for music that took me to the collegiate level.
I played the saxophone at The University of Kansas where I met my wife, Allyssa. We currently live in the Kansas City metro area with our dog, Winston, who commonly appears in a lot of my pictures. I am currently an elementary music and band teacher. While I love my job and the kids I get to work with, I hope to one day take my photography endeavors to a new level and one day is able to pursue photography full time.
I first picked up a camera my freshman year of high school hasn’t put it down since. This passion was something I wanted to take more seriously after seeing friends get married and getting to see the love between the couple. I wanted to be the one who captured those beautiful moments. I love seeing the light in couples’ eyes and the fierce bond between family.
I want my clients to be able to look back at the moments I capture and smile. I want my clients to feel comfortable enough to be their authentic selves and I will do the rest!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I felt very fortunate growing up. I had and still have a very supportive family. The biggest challenge I have while growing a photography business is finding clients. With quality photography becoming more accessible, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to stand out.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I love all types of photography but would say I specialize in lifestyle photography. Lifestyle photography includes graduation, senior, family, toddler, newborn, and headshots. I love wedding photography, and look forward to gaining more experience with them!
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I believe standing out as photography will become increasingly more difficult over the next 5-10 years. As quality photography becomes more accessible, more and more people will want to do it. High-quality pictures for all stages of life are in high demand and I believe the industry will continue to grow.
