Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Carothers

Hi Nicole, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My passion for the industry began as a child of about 8-9 years old. I grew up in Orange County, California with a father that worked in Hollywood. Growing up behind the scenes has always been a part of my life and the memories of victory after a set was completed for filming or a stage was set up for an artist never left my soul. The feelings that come with completion became addicting and I haven’t been able to let it go since. I officially got my hands in the industry in 2001 after finding a voice I was willing to manage and moved to Kansas City. The journey brought its ups and downs, disappointments and successes and most definitely, it’s lessons. Since 2001 I have applied that knowledge and evolved into a multi-faceted agency. My sweet spot is P.R & A&R however I have a wide network that makes me a jack of all trades and master to all. I work alongside some of the best film directors/content creators, producers, actors’/actresses’, music artists, business managers, magazines, record labels, publishing/distribution companies etc…

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely Not. The challenges of the industry and wanting to operate in a legit, moralistic manner is enough…Let alone the additional challenges of making your mark as a respectful woman. The other challenge… Money… People always get funny when it comes to the money, it doesn’t matter if it’s coming in or going out. Someone always has a problem, or they don’t pull their weight but want to be taken seriously or get something for nothing.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I work with individuals and their crafts. Pretty cut and dry.. There are so many beautiful people in the world with creative mentals I could never have, and they express it in the most amazing ways. The main thing I specialize in, is managing BPace Productions. BPace is a world renowned, highly demanded film director/content creator for the mainstream. Anyone you like or dislike or have heard of…Pace has been behind the lens at one point or another and gave you some of your favorite music videos/tiktoks/youtubes and more.
The thing I am most proud of is my team. My journey has been a long one and I still have a way to go… However, the team that I have, I couldn’t of asked God for better people. For that, that sets me apart from others. I come honest and raw. No smoke screen, no b.s.
I of course have other endeavors but BPace Productions is my center. If someone has a craft and they have a need outside of content, I am always willing to have a discussion and see where they are at, what needs they have, etc. and see what we can make possible to get their craft to the next level.

What are your plans for the future?
I have plans on relocating to LA to physically manage BPace Productions headquarters. I look forward to being more hands on with the projects and furthering my knowledge in the production field.
