Daily Inspiration: Meet Lynne Peterson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lynne Peterson.

Hi Lynne, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started doing hair at 19, but before that, I was hopping from job to job feeling lost and unsure of what really fit me. Once I found hair, everything finally felt right. When I discovered Invisible Bead Extensions, it clicked even more—I knew this was what I was meant to do. I opened Mane Oasis at 22 and built it around healthy, seamless, luxury extensions. Since then, I’ve continued to grow through advanced training and earning my Masters certification. Becoming a mom has also shaped me, making me more intentional and driven. I’m proud of what I’ve built and excited to keep helping women feel their best.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One of the biggest obstacles I’ve faced was starting my career so young while not really knowing my path yet. Before hair, I bounced between jobs and felt really lost, so building confidence in myself took time. Opening Mane Oasis at 22 was another challenge—navigating business, finances, and growing a clientele while still learning who I was personally and professionally wasn’t easy. On top of that, balancing motherhood, pregnancy, and working on my feet has pushed me mentally and physically. But each challenge has made me more resilient, intentional, and committed to creating a space and a service I’m proud of.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m the owner of Mane Oasis, where I specialize in Invisible Bead Extensions and customized luxury hair care. I’m known for creating seamless blends, healthy extension installs, and a really personalized client experience. My focus is always on keeping the hair healthy while giving women the fullness, length, and confidence they’ve been looking for.

I’m most proud of the standard I’ve built—especially earning my Masters certification in Invisible Bead Extensions and opening my studio so young. What sets me apart is the level of care and detail I put into every service. I don’t just install extensions; I really listen, I educate, and I create a space where women feel seen, supported, and taken care of.

My clients trust me because I’m honest, gentle with their hair, and committed to giving them results that look natural, elevated, and long-lasting.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I like best about our city is the community. People are genuinely supportive, down-to-earth, and willing to show up for small businesses. There’s a really warm, neighbor-like feel here that makes it easy to build real connections with clients.”

“What I like least is that because our city is growing so fast, we’re starting to lose a bit of that small-town convenience—traffic, construction, and longer drive times have definitely increased. But overall, the good far outweighs the frustrating parts.
