Daily Inspiration: Meet Kimberly Holder

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Holder.

Hi Kimberly, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart! I grew up looking up to my mom, who somehow managed to run a successful business from our home, lead a networking group, run marathons, and still make it to every soccer game, dance recital, and field trip. The values of hard work and leadership were instilled in me at a young age. When I graduated college, I started doing wedding photography. Through that hobby, I learned the basics of running a business. This is where I first fell in love with design and marketing, from creating my own logos and websites to deciding how I wanted to present myself to the world. After college, I became the Director of Marketing for a local financial firm and took on freelance marketing and design clients. Over time, I realized my passion for empowering women entrepreneurs and providing them with high-quality, intentional marketing services. Earlier this year after the birth of my daughter, I left my job to become a full-time mompreneur. During nap time, you’ll find me working on projects for incredible women running their dream businesses.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Entrepreneurship is never easy. As women, we are taught to do it all. Climb the corporate ladder. Get married. Birth babies. Feed your family. Keep the house in order. Oh, and don’t forget self care, hobbies, and a social life. There is certainly an identity shift that came with leaving behind my career to become a full-time mom and pursue my own business. What I’ve learned though is that leaning into a slower season of life has actually helped me grow my business. Before, I would say YES to any and all opportunities that came my way. Now, I am thoughtful about who I work with and what I do. The result? I’m intentionally working with other women who are ALSO trying to run their businesses, raise their children, deepen their marriages, and invest in themselves along the way. It is so much more meaningful to say YES to clients I align with and has created more opportunity for me than saying yes to everything.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I partner with women entrepreneurs to provide website designs, search engine and AI optimization, branding, and marketing strategy. I have a particular passion for search engine and AI optimization because the numbers don’t lie! I can provide my clients with a real, tangible, data-driven return on their investment and I love that feeling. Because I want to provide my clients with a high-touch service, I go a step beyond driving traffic to their website and spend a majority of my time focused on conversion. Most SEO/AIO professionals are dedicated to driving traffic through organic search, but aren’t concerned about what happens when someone lands on a website. I pair my background of web design with my skillset in SEO/AIO to drive traffic AND convert it, so your investment in SEO/AIO is directly tied to dollar signs.

What matters most to you? Why?
What matters most to me is supporting other women who are doing it all, while prioritizing my own family. If I can take just one thing off my clients’ plate so they can show up fully for their business and family, everything I do is worth it. Even better if I can do it during nap time!
