Daily Inspiration: Meet Justin Anderson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Anderson.

Hi Justin, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Justin anderson
Aka Tha real prophet

I was born and raised in the kcmo metro area, independence, and richmond area i bounced around alot in my younger years all the way up until I was 12

I started writing music when I was 12 years old, I had already been writing poetry since I was 7 for release from the everyday stress and struggles of the environments I was raised in as a kid.

In 8th grade I released my first two singles called twisted and nighttime both of which were on the way to being a minor hit the first year of release gaining me alot of traction. Both tracks projecting and speaking on my environment and the world i was in

By the time i was a freshman In 2020 I got signed to my first record label rags2riches for 1 year.
After getting signed I proudly ramped up music production and started doing shows.

After rag2riches I was then signed to Bentley records from 2021-2022.

After some Unfortunate events with the ladder label I later completed my contract and went fully independent.

I have now been independent for about 5 years and have gained over 60k streams on Spotify alone.

What has got me where I am today is the talent god has given me, keeping it real in my music, studying the business side of music, and my mother always supporting me

I intend to drop a full length album and multiple visual projects this year is 2026 that reflect the day to day life alot of us face and gritty urban environment in Kansas.

The good and the bad

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Definitely has not been an easy road.

The main struggles i faced are mainly financial hurdles and being judged my peers for pursuing music as a career and of course some haters behind the scenes.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am mainly a hip-hop artist but I do all kinds of music.

My music revolves around molding your pain and trauma into greatness so sho you can help others
Power through the adversity.

What sets me apart from the industry and what I am know for is my powerful lyrical deliverance on the stage and on the microphone.

My music also conveys real meaning and messages from a real raw emotional standpoint

what makes me proud is seeing the impact my messages have on people for the better
