Daily Inspiration: Meet Diego Saenz

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diego Saenz.

Hi Diego, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I was dating a friend of mine when she mentioned after seeing my drawings that I should start tattooing so one day I purchased a tattooing kit and started right on the skin with no experience and no help.

I requested help from a guy I went to high school with who would never help me now that I’m in the industry I know why now he never helped me there are steps and levels to this industry and I started off wrong. I’m self-taught and I have been tattooing for 17 years now professional since 2012 and owning my business since 2018.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Anything worth having is never smooth you have to learn the downs right along with the ups I wanted to give up many times my will to be great at what I do was stronger.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a professional award-winning skin designer (tattoo artist).

I specialize in everything besides portraits I’m known for my clean tattoo to work my smooth shading and my hospitality to my clients getting tattooed by me I think and from what I heard is a good experience I feed my clients (they definitely forget to eat) and it’s my job to makes sure they are able to complete their tattoo process.

• Half-day tattoo session $600
• Whole day tattoo session $1100
