Dayna Schaecher is the founder and owner of Beyond Ink LLC, a boho-modern beauty, tattoo, and wellness studio rooted in artistry, confidence, and community connection.
Dayna began her career in 2018 offering permanent makeup and body piercings inside her step Dad’s business, Voodoo Tattoo and Body Piercing, where she developed a strong foundation in safety, precision, and client experience. As demand for her work grew, she expanded into wedding and special occasion makeup services and tiny fine-line tattoos, allowing her business to flourish within a salon environment and reach a wider audience.
While searching for a permanent home for her growing brand, Dayna had the opportunity to work alongside a medical spa, where she earned her medication aid licensing and expanded her offerings to include medical tattooing and professional teeth whitening. This experience allowed her to blend cosmetic tattooing with wellness-focused services, shaping the holistic vision behind Beyond Ink.
Beyond Ink was founded as a deeply personal vision. As a mother of two and a business owner, Dayna set out to create more than a traditional tattoo or beauty studio — she envisioned a space where clients feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely cared for. That vision led to the opening of Beyond Ink LLC as its own storefront in Pierce, Nebraska.
Today, Beyond Ink offers tattoos, permanent makeup, spray tanning, body piercings, medical tattooing, teeth whitening, and special occasion makeup in a calm, elevated environment. The studio is intentionally designed to be the perfect setting for bridal parties, offering a spacious, relaxed atmosphere for wedding prep, beauty services, and collaborative glam experiences.
Growth at Beyond Ink is happening quickly. The studio is now both a licensed body art facility and a licensed cosmetology facility, opening the doors for even more like-minded creatives in the beauty and wellness industry. Dayna is excited to welcome a well-known and established nail professional to Beyond Ink full time within the next month, further expanding the studio’s collaborative offerings.
Driven by a passion for helping people feel confident in their own skin, Dayna believes that when someone feels good about how they look, it impacts every area of their life. Through Beyond Ink, she continues to blend artistry, professionalism, and heart — creating an experience that goes beyond the service itself.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
“No — it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Balancing motherhood, my own chronic health issues, and the financial realities of owning both a home and a business has been one of the biggest challenges. There were many times I had to make hard choices, because you can’t always do everything at once.
Spending money to make money is never easy — it’s a gamble. I actually went back to renting my home so I could invest fully in my business, and that decision led me to opening the dream storefront I’d always envisioned with Beyond Ink LLC. It wasn’t the easy choice, but it was the right one.
When people ask me how I do it all, my honest long-story-short answer is: ‘I’m living on a prayer.’
But behind that humor is a lot of grit, sacrifice, and belief in what I’m building.
Another challenge was carving out my place in the industry. I was often told to ‘stay in my lane’ or to pick one service and specialize. But I’m a creative — I thrive on variety, and I knew I wanted to build one business that offered a wide range of services under one roof. That’s not very common, and at times it made me feel like I didn’t quite fit anywhere.
I was even very close to choosing Black Sheep Body Art & Esthetics as my business name, which was a tough decision — especially leaving a family business. But ultimately, I trusted my vision. I knew I wasn’t meant to be put in a box, and Beyond Ink became a reflection of that.”
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
“I’m a single mom, recently engaged, running Beyond Ink while always putting motherhood first. I’ve built a multi-service beauty, tattoo, and wellness studio known for its elevated, welcoming experience and creative collaboration. What I’m most proud of is creating a space that empowers confidence, community, and connection.
“Motherhood comes first — everything else, including Beyond Ink, is built around that.”

There is no ONE way or Right way, you find what works for YOU. This took me a few too many years to fully grasp.
