Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Imes.
Hi Brian, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hillbilly Fight Wear started in 2007 as a tribute to my brother, Brad Imes. The ‘Hillbilly HeartThrob’ competed as a member of The Ultimate Fighter 2 and had 21 total professional fights. HFW has advocated for combat sports while sponsoring its athletes. We have attended combat and rodeo events, trading our apparel, all while our founder, Brian Imes, has competed 30 times as a professional. Now traveling with my son and step sons, HFW is still active as a promotional tool for athletes, events, and sports.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The struggles have existed in training, sacrificing what could help myself, in order to foster growth in others and for the combat community as a whole.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
HFW is a brand that prints and circulates our square philosophy, through the art of language. Thumpology is good for the community. There is nothing like HFW, and our mission is pure. We make high quality products for honorable competitors and supporters of civility through discourse.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
the quality and character of our brand is of utmost importance. Locally produced in Kansas City by a family business since 2009, and printed on high quality products that come from freedom friendly countries.
