Today we’d like to introduce you to Bre Coulter.
Hi Bre, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My passion for beauty started long before I ever owned a business. Growing up, I was surrounded by it—my mom did hair, my grandmother did hair, and beauty was always a part of my environment. Watching them create, connect with people, and help women feel beautiful planted a seed in me at a very young age.
By middle school and high school, I had already started doing braids and earning money from it. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and I loved being able to use a skill to make someone feel good about themselves. During my senior year, I even started selling strip lashes, which was my first real step into the beauty business world.
After high school, I attended college, but like many students, I faced financial challenges. Instead of letting that stop me, I invested in myself and enrolled in a lash extension training course. That decision changed everything. I spent years building my lash business, growing my clientele, and perfecting my craft. What kept me motivated wasn’t just the business side of it—it was seeing the confidence boost my clients felt when they looked in the mirror.
As my career evolved, I found myself drawn back to hair. I took additional classes, including ponytail training, and began expanding my services. From there, I continued learning, growing, and investing in my education to become the best beauty professional I could be.
Today, my business is a combination of both my passions: lashes and hair. What started as a young girl braiding hair for extra money has grown into a career built on creativity, confidence, and connection. Beauty has always been bigger than hair and lashes for me—it’s about helping people feel like the best version of themselves. That’s what inspires me to keep learning, elevating, and growing every day.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t always been easy. Like most entrepreneurs, I’ve gone through plenty of trial-and-error moments and had to learn how to stay resilient during slow seasons. One of the biggest challenges has been keeping up with an industry that is constantly evolving. New trends, techniques, and client expectations are always emerging, so continuous learning is important.
Another challenge has been adapting to the rise of social media. Today, it’s not enough to simply provide great services—you also have to market yourself, create content, and consistently show up online. While that has been a learning curve, it’s also helped me grow both personally and professionally. Every challenge has taught me how to adapt, stay creative, and continue moving forward.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in lash extensions and sleek ponytails, with mega volume lash sets being my favorite. I’m known for creating customized looks that enhance each client’s unique features—no two sets are ever exactly the same.
What I’m most proud of is my ability to adapt, grow, and stay relevant in an industry that is constantly evolving. I believe what sets me apart is my attention to detail and personalized approach. Every client is different, and I take pride in creating a look that’s tailored specifically to them rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
My biggest piece of advice is to put yourself out there beyond your inner circle. There are people in the world with valuable knowledge, opportunities, and advice who may not know you personally but are still willing to help.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions, seek guidance, and step outside of your comfort zone. You never know who has the gem, connection, or opportunity that could help change your journey.
