Daily Inspiration: Meet Austin Swegle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Austin Swegle.

Austin, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started doing photography when I was young, around the age of 3. Then I just never really stopped. What started as a hobby has turned into a life long passion.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Learning a new skill is never a smooth path. You make mistakes, have regrets, and feel like have missed opportunities. But it’s about overcoming those, and learning from your past.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’ve been called the “Swiss Army Knife” of sorts. My niche is that I don’t have one. I shoot anything and everything worth getting a photo, even what doesn’t need a photo. I love photography for the sake of photography. I’m proud of the people I’ve meant along my journey. Then as what sets me apart from others, is my continued dedication to learning.

What matters most to you?
The pursuit of knowledge. I’m not happy being stagnant. There is so much to see, do, and learn.
