Daily Inspiration: Meet Ariyah Tyson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariyah Tyson.

Ariyah, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am little Miss Ariyah Tyson and I am 3 years old. Yes, 3!!!!!

I am a very young entrepreneur but you can never start too early right? My parents have been taking pictures and videos of me since I was a baby. Now, I love posing for the camera and playing dress-up. I even have my own Instagram page. As soon as I am old enough, I will be starting a business to get into the entrepreneur world. When I am a little bit older, hopefully, you will see me on TV. But for now, I will keep making YouTube videos to show you a little sneak peek of my world.

A typical Saturday for me. I wake up mommy and daddy asking them for my favorite cereal. I would then go into my brother’s room to make him watch Peppa pig with me for a while. Depending on the weather, I would ask to play in the backyard or go to the park. I love the swings at the park. I also have a princess car, yes I can drive it already. Then it’s lunchtime.

Unlike other toddlers my age, I love broccoli!!!! But I will never turn down a happy meal from McDonald’s. Soon it will be time for my nap. (my parent’s favorite time of the day). When I wake up, I usually want to cuddle with mommy, one of my favorite things to do. Then I get on daddy’s back to chasing brother around the house until everyone is tired and ready for bed.

I would describe myself as a bubbly, outgoing, energetic, and most definitely girly girl. I love the color purple and playing with Play-doh and my Barbies. I recently started going to gymnastics. It was scary at first, but I LOVE jumping in the pit of balls, my parents are taking me to get swimming lessons this summer also. I love bath times so I think it will go something like that. We will see.

I am just a little black girl that is determined to leave my mark on this world. Hopefully, when I get older, I encourage other girl to stay true to themselves and always let their light shine.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
I wouldn’t say any struggles just yet. I am loved by my family very much. But I am a little black girl in America. I may be young but I can still make a difference. I will always stay true to myself and reach any goal I set for myself.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Right now, I do photoshoots with different photographers and clothing lines here in Kansas City.

I am an ambassador for Martinique Miller photography. I love taking photos and showing off my personality.

I also recently started doing YouTube videos. My parents feel this is a great way for the world to see my personality.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Covid-19 was very scary.

It caused my daycare to be shut down for a month back in 2020 and I got to stay at home with mommy. She looked stressed at times but I loved it!!! It was different and fun.

She did her best to juggle me and her workload. But I happy things are getting back to normal.
