Hi Amber, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have worked in the restaurant industry for 17 years. Salty iguana Mexican restaurant was my second home. When they closed down in march of 2025 I didn’t know where to go. After being sad for a couple of weeks, I decided to do something scary… start my very own business. Sips Of Ambrosia Bartending llc. A mobile bartending service. I had the passion and knowledge for bartending, but no idea how to run my own company. For the next few months I worked on setting up my company and building my brand. There have been a lot of ups and downs.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My biggest struggle was setting up my website and learning where and how to market the company. Getting leads that turn out to be a scam. Having the excitement and ending up disappointed.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Sips of ambrosia bartending is a dry hire mobile bartending service. This means we provide everything but the liquor. We specialize in weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, and any celebration you can think of. We show up with a custom handmade bar setup , all the homemade specialty syrups and mixers, fresh cocktail garnishes, and all the cups, straws, napkins, and ice that is needed create an open bar for the entire event. My passion and joy for this business is what sets me apart from others. When you love what you do it’s not work, it’s an experience.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The most important lesson I learned is definitely mastering my mindset and believing in myself. Knowing that success doesn’t happen overnight and setbacks are a part of life. I consider myself an optimist but even I can get in my own head. Everyday is a new day. Don’t let your fear hold you back.
