Hi Ama, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I have always been inspired by art and creativity. After college, I had the opportunity to work alongside a very talented photographer in Springfield, focusing on family sessions and weddings. This experience enhanced my skills and fueled my passion for photography. Upon relocating to Kansas City, I transitioned into the fashion industry, collaborating with another photographer on model portfolio projects. Eventually, I ventured out on my own, enjoying a successful career in photography for many years.
In keeping with my artist nature, when my daughter graduated from high school, I decided to put together a balloon arch for her party to add a fun & festive atmosphere. Despite it being time-consuming, I found it to be incredibly rewarding and was very proud of the final result. This experience inspired me to start a balloon arch and design business. To make the venture even more enjoyable, I invited my friend, Darl Williams, to join me as a business partner. Since then, we have successfully created numerous balloon arches and centerpieces bringing vibrancy to parties throughout the Kansas City metro area.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Our business specializes in creating custom-designed balloon arches. No two displays are exactly the same. We begin by carefully listening to our clients’ ideas and the ambiance they wish to create. Based on this information, we present various options to meet their needs. Once the colors and design are finalized, we provide our clients with confidence that they can rely on us to seamlessly deliver and set up their arch on the day of their event.

One of our proudest achievements is the creation of an 18-foot tall balloon arch for Loch Lloyd Country Club’s Valentine’s Day party. We worked with a local engineer who assisted in designing the structure to which we attached our balloons. This installation delivered a remarkable wow factor to the venue.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is the satisfaction of our clients. I make it a point to communicate quickly and clearly to requests and questions. I make sure our clients know when to expect our arrival along with the details of their display. I want them to be happy with their results. The biggest compliments are repeat customers and referrals.
