Hi Rhea, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My moon rituals are what originally guided me towards making candles. During these rituals, I would have herbs, crystals, candles, oils, and other items that honored the energetic frequency of whichever moon phase I was setting intentions under. These rituals were also a huge part of my spiritual and inner work journey.
The thought of having a ritual in jar was something that peaked my interest and would be incredibly convenient for effortless elevation. Moon Dust was the very first candle I ever made, which is known by my customers as the Full Moon Candle.
The whole process began right in my kitchen in a make shift double boiler on my stove top. It took me 3 months to perfect my method. I spent a lot of time learning about molecules, temperatures, dimensions, wicks, and timely blending. Doing this ultimately allowed me to develop a completely all natural, non toxic, clean burn, water soluble candle that can go from the cure table to the customers hand in 3 days.
My candle line ended up turning into the story of my spiritual awakening. Every breakthrough, every moment of enlightenment, every cleared wound, and every shift in consciousness resulted in a new candle.
Every part of The Soulducate Sanctuary Candle Co. product line runs through me. I design every label from a blank screen, every mantra, prayer, or affirmation featured on the labels come from within me. Every candle is infused with energetic intentions of protection, ascension, and prosperity, and every scent is a custom blend designed to also be a power play for the senses in conjunction with the proper energetically infused crystals & herbs to aid in supercharging the frequency of the intention.
I went on to make a New Moon Ritual candle, then I made “self-love”, “Clairsentience”, “Grounded”, Magical Mama”, “Eternal Love”, Reborn, Sovereignty, and Sacred. I created a Divine Union line, I do holiday exclusives, most recently an entire Archangel line, plus many more.
I also created & bottled a protection mist, along with a complete start to finish energy cleansing kit using my very own step by step process.
I had no clue my product would take off like it did. I designed a web page, loaded them online and started posting on Instagram. My family and close friends were a big contribution to spreading the candle love. They would purchase from me and give them as gifts to people they knew, which then turned into those people purchasing candles for themselves and then their friends and family also purchasing.
I made enough profit from candle making in my home, that I was able to open a storefront for my business. I had my store for 3 years, but recently decided to move it all back home and go back to online only. This allows for more time with my family and weekend outings. Maybe one day I will open another store, the possibilities are always limitless.
My store was located in my hometown of Knob Noster, MO. which houses Whiteman Air Force Base. This expanded my customer base tremendously. Locals discovered my products & those who were stationed at Whiteman would bring their visiting family members into the store, then those family members continued to order through my website.
Creating these candles not only allowed me to give a clean product to many people, but they have allowed me to help many people have small moments of enlightenment, a shift in perception, or and emotional breakthrough they didn’t know could come from reading words on a candle label and sitting in stillness with a couple of flames for a bit. We were also featured by a small business that made care bags for women battling breast cancer. The cleanliness of my product provides a worry free burn for those who are required to be toxin free.
I always enjoyed when anyone would come in and talk to me about their experience or moment of clarity. It was in those times that i knew why I was guided to create these energetic containers to share with others.
My goal is to enrich the inner world while also pleasing our external senses. The Soulducate Sanctuary Candle Co. candles not only smell good, but they also feel good.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has actually been a pretty smooth road for my business. At the same time when the space became available for my store, I went through a pretty big life transition and spiritual ascension call, unexpectedly. I believe without having goals to reach with the store, I would have been pretty emotionally and energetically damaged. I spent a few months remodeling the space, primarily completing everything myself, and birthed my vision into the physical in every perfect way.
It’s always important to have a “why”. As long as we have a “why”, it’s almost impossible not to hit goals despite any other circumstances that may cause struggle.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I believe what sets me aside from the rest is the personal energy that goes into the product. Every inch of the candles, from label designing to the fragrance creation, are coded for enlightenment, elevation, self-love, & higher consciousness.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Something surprising that many may not know is that I published an all inclusive ascension guide called The Sacred Feminine Activation Guide. The 2026 version will be available soon. This guide is a start to finish ascension coach for clearing emotional stagnation, discovering ones life path, and coming into alignment with the universal energy shifts to become magnetic for greater abundance in all areas of life. The 2026 version is themed for the rise of the Dark Goddess and how to embody the energies that are here to serve in our highest and greatest good.
